FAQ

I have a new engineered floating wood floor. A brass lamp fell and left a quarter to half inch deep gash in the floor. Is there a way to repair it without replacing the foor? The wood is oak.
From my experience I would try and see if you could get a matching wood puddy, to fill the gash. If you have a piece of scrap left over from when the floor was installed, you can take it to your local hardware store and get a wood puddy that will match it. Ive used this before and only I can tell that the damage is there, to others, they can't see it.

I live in a condo apartment on the 2nd floor. I want to soundproof the floor, but I don't want carpeting. Therefore, I glued a cork underlayment to a wood sub floor. Now, I want to glue the engineered wood floor to the cork underlayment. Is this reccomended?
If your cork is down well and the glue you use will bond to the cork, your ok. Check out what type of glue your using. Most urethane based glues will work. GL

Because it is a popular tree species, rich in resources, so it will be cheaper as a raw material floor price. Birch color, can be a variety of processing. After processing the birch floor color is very clear and natural, all-match.Disadvantages: birch wood is soft, is not strong, so, if only birch as raw materials, the wear resistance made out of birch floor will be poor, therefore, domestic flooring manufacturers generally use the composite floor, such as birch as the core layer or surface layer is pasted birch floor. This has not only solved the problem of weak birch, but also reduced the cost of materials.

flooring continually is going less than those homestead equipment. The flooring will do its ingredient as typical, in spite of a range and ref on them. a million/4 is the classic length hollow thats mandatory. Installer must have prepared some ingredient with you about the homestead equipment. both to have you ever bypass them out and in, you to bypass them out and he to interchange them or he will do it both ideas. If the e book circumstances are free status they might want to be moved and adjusted on the flooring at the same time as performed. Any questions you could e-mail me with the help of my avatar,Ive attended numerous setting up seminars , besides as put in a pair one hundred,000 s/f. GL

I used a Brazilian Cherry wood which is suppose to have a very hardness rating. Our 50 lb dog can still mark it with his toe nails.
