- i've got been given a 89 supra rapid had the previous inventory exhaust ripped off and threw on 4 inch catback hi bypass exahustin case you basically want the sound long gone do exactly the mufffler, you probable have been given a competent high quality exhaust so dont take all of it off.

- No offense, but thats like asking if its ok to put racing stripes and NOS on a 79 Mustang 4 banger, 4 speed, stick shift. (Trust me, they exist) You do not need a dual exhaust sytem on that. If its all about looks for you, forget it, or buy a truck that comes stock dual exhaust, but your gonna lose that better fuel economy you have with your truck.

I just bought a Apexi N1 Universal muffler because i am worried about Massachusetts Laws against noise polution or discrimination towards loud imports. Anyways, Would the Apexi N1 Catback system have been better than the universal muffler being taken to the shop and having a 2 1/4 custom pipe installed from the Cat back? - it all depends on how they bend the piping, a mandrel bender would be best but ive never seen a muffler shop with one they usually have those machines that just stretch the piping which shrinks the piping at bends which would make it worse than a real catback system, and as long as the high flow cat, headers, and whatever else u get is CARB legal it should be street legal and you can take the cops to court if u ever get a ticket for it, although all that stuff WILL make your car alot louder which in turn will get you hassled by the cops and theyll be ***** and give you tickets haha and apexi n1's are pretty loud

Lacquer thinner has a very strong smell so be sure all the windows are open. Apply with a terry cloth rag. The glue will begin to soften. Scrap it off with a small flexible putty knife. Afterward wash the counter top down with soap and water to remove the smell. Dispose of the rag in the outside trash bin.
