Is taking it off a good idea?: For the best answers, search on this site shorturl.im/axvr3 Honda resonators are part of about a five foot section of exhaust. Obviously it's called the resonator assembly. It bolts on the front of the resonator to the back of the catalytic converter and on the back of the resonator, it bolts to the rear muffler assembly. If the bolts aren't rusted you can do this yourself, figure around 110 for the part and gaskets.

There are a bunch of quality cat-back exhaust systems available. In fact the best modification is to install a header to replace the factory manifold. The manifold WILL break and leak. There's no way to keep it from breaking.

Yes, you need a cat-back system, which is basically just a new muffler and a few feet of pipes. This will give you a nice rumble for $300-$500. You can't really get by any cheaper than that and get anything good.

Q: i have a 2013 v6 challenger (3.6 LITERS) and the stock dual exhaust system sounds pretty good but its not loud enoughi dont have 500 bucks to change the whole exhaust system but i can afford the mufflers. now is it worth it?btw do they weld it in order to install it or they just use screws cuz i leased the car n i dont think im allowed to do thatplease help!: I have a Jeep Liberty with the 3.7L engine and it has a Flowmaster Super 44 on it. Sounds like a V8 on start up and idle, as well as in low RPMs. But once you get into higher RPMs it starts to sound kind of ricey. But the sound is 100 times as agressive as it was stock. Worth the money imo. I'd look at videos on YouTube of Challengers with exhaust beforehand so you can know what you'd like.

If its just the exhaust pipe it should be able to fit over a 4 cylinder header because i dont see why the slots would be differed other than the piping might have a larger diameter because of larger engine exhaust output. See if the slots match up and if they dont, u got ur answer If its headers with it, you arent going to fit a 6 cylinder header on a 4 cylinder. And BTW. You car doesnt have a V4. You car has an inline 4 cylinder engine. V blocks are shaped in a V when inline blocks have the cylinders all inline.
