Many say that if your truck came equipped with Dual Cats from the factory, you have a True Dual System. I say, they should get their heads examined, Dual Cats coming from a single Muffler and a single Exhaust Pipe or a Y-Pipe, is in no way, a True Dual System. I say a True Dual System, is one that has Dual Mufflers Dual Cats, coming from a high quality X-Pipe. Without a doubt, this system will enhance the power, giving it a more muscled affect, which will make the exhaust flow much better, and making it sound louder, all in one neat package. Now, we all surrender, and bring up the white flag when it comes to FlowMaster, their technology and products are Top Of The Line. When it comes to Dodge, Chevy/GMC or Ford, than the solution is FlowMaster, period. Q: Hi, I have a ford ranger 54 reg 2.5td supercab and i want to make it sound awesome. But i have no clue what to get to make it sound nice. Could i just buy a muffler or would i have to get a new exhaust or just buy a new back box? Would it be expensive and easy to put on? Can universal exhaust systems, muffler, back boxes fit on a ford ranger or would i have to buy specific parts for the truck (customised)?Does anyone have suggestions for parts and internet webites (preferbly uk postage)? Q: Why are aftermarket ehaust systems 4! I dont want a big dumb exhaust tip! Is there any exhaust mufflers that are 2.5-3? Please let me know! I cant do that 4 too big! I;d like it to come with a silencer. Help please: If you go to big you can actualy lose power. I have a turbo 99 vw passat and it has a turbo back 2.5 exhuast with a silencer and a Borla muffler. Great sound. I'm at about 260hp and 300 torque and 2.5 is big enouph. If I got into the 300hp prob would get 3 incher. Don't get a loud coffee can exhuast, they sound like **** and are played out. Everyone would say ther goes another ricer. Get a street legal set up. So many honda sytems out ther man. Company's. That jump out are Greedy and Nuespeed. I think they make street leagal cat back systems. If your thinking of just replacing the back muffler I would get a borla or magnaflow. Youtube it. Poeple record what there exhuast sounds like.

Q: I‘m looking for an exhaust system for my 2005 Audi a4 b7 2.0 non-turbo. there are so many different systems to fit all the type of engines, but just not for the non turbo. Is this because the other systems still fit or because its a rarer model than others. maybe there just isnt a exhaust out there for it? Just a little confused. any help is greatly appreciated. thanks in advance: Usually Audi performance parts manufacturers do not produce exhaust products for non-turbo models because of a few reasons. One, most Audi non-turbo engines are not very tunable, meaning they do not upgrade easily. Secondly, the performance gains on non-turbo vs turbo models (as far as exhaust goes) is alot different. HP/torque gains in non-turbo models tend to be alot less significant than turbo models, pretty much making any products that the manufacturers would sell for non-turbos a waste of costs to produce. That is not to say that there are no companies that make an exhaust system for your model, but alot of the times they release these systems after a couple of years (at least that is what I have noticed) So to sum your question up.it is hard to find non-turbo performance parts (mainly exhaust) because there is a smaller demand for these parts, the performance gains are minimal next to turbo models, and they are a little harder to tune

Q: CHANGEING EXHAUST: The exhaust system has nothing to do with a BOV ( allows pressure in the intake, inner cooler to exhaust to the atmosphere), you need a turbo or supercharger to use a BOV so the answer is NO You can install a header and low restriction exhaust, but you will lose some low end torque, which this engine lacks to begin with. Unless you add a performance PCM you will gain little.

Q: I have a 1987 corvette fully stocked and im gonna spice it up as much as i can. So what is the difference in the names of the exhaust systems? LIke the corsa, flowmaster and so on. They dont just have exhaust for convertibles The only way your gonna get a ricey sound is if you have a 4 cyl car with a fat loud exhaust
