Q:I just got a cat-back exhaust system on my car. if i were to get a new cat-forward exhaust would it make my car faster?: The cat back system is obviously everything behind your catalytic converter, so the only thing is front is your header(s) and your catalytic converter itself. They make a substantial difference because if your air is restricted going through those it doesn't allow your exhaust to live up to its full potential.

Q:Which First Catback Exhaust system or Short ram air intake?: I would suggest skipping short ram, go full cai first. Tsudo is an awesome brand, I used it on my wifes 05 spyder. Then do the exhaust, better that it breathe in better than out. If you want maximum gains though id say go turbo.

Q:Exhaust systems, catalytic converters ,mufflers, muffler tips?: I've been having the same problems but I've been doing some reading. Muffler tips are mostly cosemetic, they are just for looks. They make your exhaust look nicer on the end, muffler is like a fart can they cost as much as 200 but as cheap as 20 bucks. They are mostly for sound and weld or attach onto your exhaust. An exhaust system is from what understand is from your engine to the back of the car, it gives a nice sound and is ussually 500-up in price they are an hp increase and let your engine breath better

Q:if u can, will it pass inspection?: why the hell dont you just put a muffler see people have this thing that if the car dosent have a muffler then it has more power that isn't the case my car use to have straight pipes thats how i bought it but it was too loud and it really didnt have power cuz it had no back preassure what so ever i might have just been runing with out an exhaust system at all but i put in a high flow muffler it quite it down and it gave it better performance put in bigger pipes put in a highflow muffler keep your catalyctic converter and if you have headers change them before you smogg it then you shood be ok ive been doing this for 5 years now

Q:I have a 1998 Dodge Ram 1500 Ext. Cab. Im wanting to get a new sound system on it, but i can't decide what to get. i have seen some vids on youtube of straight piped Rams and they sound great, really loud. But i wanted that tone that an exhaust system like Flowmaster would give. Does anybody have any idea how i can get the loudness of straight pipes with the sound of a Flowmaster?: these two tyres are of slightly differing sizes. they can be used, but just make sure that the same size tyres are on the same axle, front or rear. the difference is in the rolling diameter of the tyre, hence the /75R compared to /70R. it is a minor difference but different all the same

The most effective part of the exhaust system for aftermarket is the start of the exhaust the extractors/headers. Get that as well as in a full exhaust. Start with headers only and you will feel a little difference and a K and N filter or any other brand of cotton. Get catback after the headers it will become a full exhaust system or if you got the money get it all at once. Keep the diameter 2inch to 2.5inch any more is no good for a NA engine. Big diameter is only good for turbo cars.

Q:which exhaust system for a corvette?: No exhaust system alone will ever give you the sound of a cammed LS engine. Hence i put cammed as in camshaft look it up, get a professional to spec one out for you. Pay a shop to install or if you have enough skill/knowledge do it yourself and save labor. After that you will have to get a professional tune, and is you want to sound like those after that then you will need an exhaust system or a muffler and no cats. Your looking at around $4-$500 for just the cam, another $400 for the tuning services, and about $1000 for a decent exhaust systems that;s not even including headers that can range from $500-1300. And remember none of this is including labor except the tune. Good luck
