- that car is a 07, it still should have a warranty on it. dont fool with it, or you could void the warranty. take it back to where you bought it and let them worry about it, it will be payed for.
- Q:I want to get a better sound out of my bike but I don‘t want to buy a jet kit or a high price muffler and intake system. My question; Can I just remove all the filler from my stock muffler to get a deeper tone? I keep reading that if I don‘t get a jet kit while increasing my exhaust flow that I could damage valves, but that doesn‘t seem plausible considering that everything I am reading says that having a more open exhaust increases EGT (Exhaust Gas Temp), but common sense would tell you that having a better air flow would cool it down right?? I‘m not looking for a performance upgrade because I‘m on a Hyosung GT250R and it‘s not like I‘ll get that much out of it. I just want a louder and little bit deeper tone, is that too much to ask without spending $800?
- Good info given, assuming your bike is a 'carb' model. If it's fuel injection it's some what of a different situation. Ask your local bike make dealer for more info or if there is a web site for the owners club, post a question there. I changed pretty much most of my exhaust system with no problem and it's fuel injection so no messing about re-jetting. Hope this helps a bit.

- Not really. A free flowing exhaust will only add performance gains if the other areas of the engine are modified as well such as the air intake and the fuel system. A free flowing exhaust will only help flow more air if the engine is breathing more air through the intake. After the exhaust and intake are improved, then the restriction becomes the cylinder heads along with the intake manifold. You are better off spending the money on engine upgrades such as a performance camshaft, roller rocker arms(possibly even upgraded rocker arm ratio from 1.5 to 1.6), and intake manifold and carb. Headers are another area to add some performance gain. but just adding a performance exhaust won't help you much at all.

- If the exhaust system provides for all of the emissions equipment or substitutes to be used, then you should be able to pass the inspection in Massachusetts. This means converters and sensors must be able to work in such a way that the engine emissions are with in limits. So make sure that what ever parts you buy are not labeled for off road use only. Also I checked the Ford Performance site and did not see any exhaust systems for the F250 listed for street use, but Summit has some that should pass emissions testing.

- It will not affect your milage, unless you drive it hard. However, that is if you get a proper system. If you straight pipe it, or remove the system all together, you will slowly destroy your valves, and you car will not run as well. It will slowly get worse and worse, until you have a leak, which will require you to tear you engine apart and rebuild it. This will happen, and I see cars in my shop like this all too much. don't skimp out, a system will run you 700s at worst. A rebuild will run you 2-3k at best.

- the engine will suck cold air into the engine and warp valves immediately. Plus it will be loud. I ran a race car(86 Honda Prelude)on a half mile circle track and found that you need to run the exhaust at least half the length of the car to keep or even increase horsepower without engine damage.
