- That mechanic is bullshitting you catback exhaust means it runs from the CAT- Back. The cats are still in place, you bolt them right after the cats. Take it to another mechanic or do it yourself . it's pretty easy to do as long as you have a lift

- Well i'm not a female but ride safe, when you sit down a bike does it feel right to you ,can sit with your feet touching ground as flat as possible? learn wher theres no traffic first say a parking lot of school (junior colleges good place0 ride with some one you trust! wear helmet even if law say you don't have to! wear long jeans, and good shoes (no flip-flops) When approaching an intersection slow down gradually till you can put down one foot then apply brakes! when making a right turn keep weight centered to bike! when making left lean a little foward into turn, when leaving drive-way always check both ways and try to keep one foot down so you wont drop bike (Ive done that) Lastly enjoy and have fun!

- To get a deep agressive tone is not easy, particularly from a low cc 4 cylinder car. I got a cat-back exhaust system pretty cheap (440 AUD) fully fitted for my mitsubshi 6 cyclinder (which contains 2 1/4 piping plus a sports muffler). Sounds great. A little bit of research will tell you whether the 3 has 1 or 2 cat's. I would think it only has 1, but Im not sure. Even then, I dont see how it will make much of a difference if the cats are linked in a serial fashion (as in the gas goes into Cat 1, then Cat 2, then the muffler then out). Go Ebay only if its a trusted source and you can fit the thing yourself (you'll need welding equipment and good knowledge of how to do it). I would ring up a few places and ask them if they have put a cat-back system on a 3 before. Only if they have will they be able to tell you the ins and outs of doing it.

- I had a 92 RS with stock 305, when it came to the exhaust I didn't have enough money for headders and a whole new exhaust, so I talked to a friend of mine and he siad he cut off the stock muffler past the rear axel and just ran straight pipes from there. So I took it to my local muffler shop and asked them to do it, all they needed to do is make a y pipe to split the exhaust and bent the straight pipes, I chose the Z28 Style tips. From what I recall it only cost me like $150, and it sounded meaner than hell and I did notice some extra power. The best part was that it was all street legal, I still had a catalytic Converter so I was set. I hope this helped! Email me if you have any questions.

- Ok, people with hondas have a huge misconception about how horsepower is actually gained. Civics engines also work on backpressure. Opening up the exhaust without proper modification equals toasted rings and valves later on in life. Yes you will have a few extra horsepower. But do you really understand what horsepower is? Horsepower topspeed. If you looking for a drag car, an open exhaust is definatly the wrong way to go. You need to worry about how to get more torque out of the car. And hondas are torque less wonders.
