Q: What do you think of a Monza exhaust system for a 1985 Mazda RX-7?
They're a cheap exhaust company and a bit ricer IMO, but it's your money. Go for something good like Racingbeat. Much, much better quality.
Q: I just wanted to know; if i got a magnaflow exhaust system but later did an engine swap does that affect anything? would i need a new exhaust? same for air intake?would i need to change most of my aftermarket products(for performance) if i do engine swap last?oh and btw its a mirage mitsubishi ls coupe 1.8l manual transmission with about 50k mileage, its something to work on while im in school
Deka III and the bottle of wine.
Q: I have a 2005 Ford Ranger STX. I‘m looking for a great exhaust system to increase my gas mileage and horse power. I looked for flowmaster but I can‘t seem to find any. My budget is around the 500 dollar range. And if any of you know any other nice upgrades I should consider, let me know. Thanks in advance.
How about the one Ford installed. Changing it may help horsepower a little but it won't help the gas mileage.
Q: I want to get some idea because I was thinking about buying a V6 mustang and upgrading the exhaust to something that rumbles. I know it wont probably be as loud as the GT but something that rumbles. maybe rumble just a little bit. I only like the GT‘s because their loud and their dual exhaust. Other then that I would want a V6 with the same features at a GT minus the motor and BAD gas mileage lol
you can probably get a good cat back system for around 4 or 5 hundred dollars , but if gas mileage is your only objection to the gt do some more research i'll bet you find it isnt that much worse than the v6
Q: i want a loud and beast like sound that will just give you the goose bumps from idle to take off. ive seen people get long tube headers and what not but if someone was to have a flowmaster, borla, or whatever type exhaust system does the headers have to bve from the same name???
Do you want noise or power increase? Just changing the headers will not add any power because the rest of the system will still be restricted. Over sizing the inside diameter of the whole exhaust from the engine back is the only way to gain power. This lets the engine breathe better. If you just want to change the noise, you can just cut out the muffler and put a Stock or Race model in, or just a piece of straight pipe in it's place if your state allows it. You can get custom headers in any type and mix and match as long as you match the size of the outlet pipes and increase the diameter from there. This means that all the associated pipes, catalytic converters, and muffler will have to be changed to over sized. Good luck in your quest!
Q: I was wonder if I do that would I have to cut or do anything to the exhaust to make it fit on and if it could go on my 3G Eclipse GT because I heard that you can do that to get a dual exhaust, Please explain in detail on how to do it and would it increase the hp in my Eclipse?
a muffler will give your 2 horsepower dual may get you 4. a 3000gt exhaust wont work. sensors wont match up, im sure the headers are different, and the overall length. be cheaper to go to a shop and get a exhaust done.
Q: for a 06 subaru wrx.is it the tailpipe where it comes out, then the mid-pipe which is the piece behind that, then is it the downpipe next? and then up-pipe, then headers
First suspect would be the bearings in the front forks. Next would be something like cables or windshield brackets interfering with free movement of the handlebars. You need to get this bike to a dealer and get it repaired before you become a widow.
Q: Are there any real benefits to having a dual exhaust system rather than a single exhaust? (especially on a truck)
It sounds really good, more horse power gain, better mileage, and all trucks should have it.
Q: also were i can buy one
well i don't think there's a specific name for them but they do sell them my boyfriend has one on his car it's a tanabe hyper medallion cat back exhaust system you can find them everywhere especially for a honda i would try tanabe they're a little pricey but worth every penny. cause the cops don't give you crap for the exhaust cause it's quite but nice and throaty when you gett on it.
Q: Will this exhaust system fit my mustang?
Nope, the v8 and v6 have different diameter exhausts, so unless you bought some fittment pieces you'd be in trouble. You'd also have to find hangers because the single exhaust on your six is one side shy of the v8 Your better off picking up a Mustang magazine and looking for the v6 specific exhaust setups.
