Q: Kitchen bathroom vertical exhaust system which division works
If you are referring to the kitchen of the smoke channel, it belongs to the housing itself construction project. If you are referring to the kitchen and toilet exhaust, it is your own decoration works.
Q: do exhaust systems make your car any faster? or is it just for show
Yes the can increase horsepower depending on what you mean by exhaust system. Just throwing on a fart can resonator at the end of your tailpipe wont do anything except get you a ticket and annoy everyone around you. But if done properly, a complete performance exhaust system can increase power, and fuel economy. When you put a performance exhaust system on your car, it is decreasing the amount of restriction. Hence, the engine can work more efficiently when it doesnt need to waste its power trying to shove old exhaust fumes down a bottle neck exhaust. More exhaust flow means more intake flow, which equals more power, and better gas mileage because it doesnt need to work as hard to breathe and exhale.
Q: which exhaust system for a corvette?
No exhaust system alone will ever give you the sound of a cammed LS engine. Hence i put cammed as in camshaft look it up, get a professional to spec one out for you. Pay a shop to install or if you have enough skill/knowledge do it yourself and save labor. After that you will have to get a professional tune, and is you want to sound like those after that then you will need an exhaust system or a muffler and no cats. Your looking at around $4-$500 for just the cam, another $400 for the tuning services, and about $1000 for a decent exhaust systems that;s not even including headers that can range from $500-1300. And remember none of this is including labor except the tune. Good luck
Q: Generally speaking, how much would it cost at an auto shop?
Modern Auto Brakes have what is call Vac assisted brakes that mean that the braking process is made Easier with enging Vac supplied to a Brake Booster. What you are doing when you depress the pedal with the moter off is Bleeding off all the stored Vac in the Booster The hard pedal after bleeding off is what your brake would feel like without Vac Assist.
Q: I have a Toyota Camry Vienta (1995 model). Yesterday, I saw water dripping from underneath the car. It was dripping in drops from the exhaust system under the car just where the front bonnet ends. I checked my coolent it is not eating up ccolent (in fact I had my coolent flushed last month). Could someone guide where the problem could be.Many thanks in advance.
Its most likely just condensation or water. I alwasy though car exhausts were leaking gas when it came out the back of exhaust but Ive read so many articles that explain in depth that all it is is water, so nothign to worry about
Q: its a 4 door but im still trying to make it look really nice Im looking for an exhaust thats really affordable and worth the money something to add a lil more horse power and add a muscle sound to it where would be a good place to go i live in Bakersfield California thank you(:
I don't know if you have a 340 in it but flowmaster 40's sound great on my 76 Road Runner w/ a 360
Q: Im at a budget around 200-250 for a new exhaust system on my Camaro, the old one is rusted out and has many holes within it and ready to fall apart. Just looking for something that will work well in the car. Or a site that will lead me to something.
I think the most affordable way to go is with a cat back exhaust system kit and install it yourself. Dynomax makes some of the most affordable cat back kits and you can buy them at PartsAmerica and Advance Auto Parts stores. To get a price I suggest you go to the PartsAmerica website and search for an exhaust system kit for your Camaro. I'm almost positive you won't find one for $250 but you might find a kit in the $350 price range. But if you might be thinking about a muffler shop to do the job on a budget like yours, forget it. Even the cheapest of muffler shops will charge nearly $1000 and Midas will probably charge $500 or $600 more than that. Other than buying a kit and installing it yourself, the only cheaper alternative is to buy a cheap muffler and pipes and jerry-rig a system.
Q: Are there any real benefits to having a dual exhaust system rather than a single exhaust? (especially on a truck)
3 inch single exhaust on a V-8 is better than dual
Q: i wanted to get a HKS, Injen, or Borla muffler but i wanted to know if it will make my car much louder. will it give it the same sound as if i was to get a full exhaust system. i have a 94 Honda Civic if that makes a difference
No. Generally the sound from exhaust (at least a catback) comes from the resonator (or lack thereof) not the muffler. In the case of a header it comes from the cat (or lack thereof). If you have a stock 4 cylinder (generally speaking) exhaust will sound horrid on your car. My recommendation is to replace the header/cat and not the cat back because it will sound and perform better.
Q: ok ive been wondering this for awhile. I have looked at plenty of body kits for my mustang and have found really cool ones but was too afriad to buy them cause then i want to put an exhaust system on it but they have diffrent ones that come out the side and the back etc for instance the ones out the back the body kits that have the cutouts for the exhausts in the back will it basically fit all exhausts that go out the back? Same with the side ones like if it has one pipe cut out and i have a two pipe exhaust what would i have to do or would i have to find one that is for two pipes? thanks!
I would definitely start off with a 5 wheel frame of 80 mm wheels until you get comfortable with the longer line under your feet and how to handle the faster speed.
