Q: I have a 2001 v6 ex honda accord. i want to make the exhaust a little louder but dont have the money to upgrade the exhaust system. any products i should buy? and where? also will putting in a cold air intake make it anylouder?: well first off, i think Hondas sound like a swarm of west Nile mosquitoes heading my way, not sure why anyone likes that sound, but the best ways to make it louder are to buy performance exhaust parts. The ones to look for are tubular headers, high flow catalytic converters, and high performance mufflers. flowmaster is one of the loudest brands out there. there is a way to make it even louder, but since you drive a Honda you are probably like most other Honda people and don't wanna do any actual work to your engine, just appearance enhancements. you could buy a camshaft to give your valves higher lift. although this often requires new valve springs as well. Im not sure if headers and cams are available for such small and underpowered engines, usually people use them on V8's. but it might be worth checkin out, just head over to auto zone, or advanced auto parts, they can tell you.

Q: Also do dual exhaust, or exhaust that come out on the side(like the lightning) alter perfomance in any way, or is this purely cosmetic? thanks for your help: Side exhaust doesn't really do anything if it's catted and mufflered. I just noticed a shelby mustang with side exhaust.looked stupid. Cars should have exhaust in the back; side exhaust will damage your hearing guaranteed. Dual exhaust doesn't do anything for any four cylinder cars but it can be helpful for reducing backpressure in most v-6+ cars. Usually a full exhaust system (in my belief) is head back meaning it replaces the header(s) cat, and cat back. Stainless exhaust in a bit bigger diameter usually nets decent horsepower and torque, but usually it's all from the replacement of the header and cat with higher flow components and NOT the cat back. Even then, if you go too big you can actually lose horsepower and torque which is never a good thing for something that cost you a lot of money to buy and possibly install.

Q: like exhaust system and suspension kits: Exhaust systems usually dint even fit the car they're intended for very easily. Suspension is usually one size fits all, but don't push it to much.

Q: help!!!: It will just get louder and louder till it drives you crazy - then you will change it- cost will depend on quality you want on your car

Can you continue to drive?: It does not matter, this is the exhaust gas detection sensor problems, you can go to 4S shop with a computer diagnostic device to see which parts of the sensor problems, you can use the detector to reset the next, if the problem still exists which sensor is a problem

Q: I already have exhaust, tint, and a sound system.: I am with the guy who say take the class first. if you lack the confidance and coordination to drive a manual car. a motorcycle will get you hurt. If you are on the bike thinking about you son then you are not thinking about riding the bike and that is sure to catch up to you sooner rather than later. take the class then if you feel more comfortable get the bike.

Q: i want to know some good exhaust systems for a 2001 blazer zr2. i was looking at flowmaster or magnaflow but dont know which. i want the truck to be loud and have a deep rumble. no cats preferred but whatever is good loud and within good price. thanks: id paly around 5-6 thousand a zr2 package is like a z71 package better suspension and towning componests id try to talk the guy dwon to 5k i used to have a blazer it it was nice i loved it i sold it only cause i wanted a z71 so its a perfect buy

Q: would any1 reccommend this system?is it working well on ur setupI would be putting it on a Celica GTS 00‘: it depends on what ur after. if its all out performance i recommend the VEILSIDE titanium exhaust as for the sound any of the major brands( Greddy, HKS, Skunk2, etc. hp gains will pretty much be even) out there are pretty sweet.so it comes down to style. I have the Invidia system on my GT, gives a nice deep tone and the lines flow nicely with my kit.

Would a performance exhaust system made by Ford pass inspection in Massachusetts?: If the exhaust system provides for all of the emissions equipment or substitutes to be used, then you should be able to pass the inspection in Massachusetts. This means converters and sensors must be able to work in such a way that the engine emissions are with in limits. So make sure that what ever parts you buy are not labeled for off road use only. Also I checked the Ford Performance site and did not see any exhaust systems for the F250 listed for street use, but Summit has some that should pass emissions testing.

Q: for a 06 subaru wrx.is it the tailpipe where it comes out, then the mid-pipe which is the piece behind that, then is it the downpipe next? and then up-pipe, then headers: I've never had any use for Harley-Davidson but my owners manual is quoted, WARNING: Improper adjustment of the steering head (e.g. too tight) will make the motorcycle very difficult to steer. This adjustment is critical for proper handling of all models. Manual also said, The steering head bearings must be adjusted periodically to avoid . steering instability. When properly adjusted, the front fork should turn with just a hint of bearing drag, but without free play or obvious resistance to turning. Could this apply to your husband's problem?
