- No you can't because you need a muffler. But try this if you know how to weld 1) cut the muffler off the system 2) open the muffler and remove the inner workings 3) weld it back together 4) put if back on the car with the hole on top (for it not to be seen) 5) you now have straight pipe with mufflers (legally) ENJOY

- k all u have to do is if u have fish in there you take them out and dump all the water out wash the tank DON'T USE BLEACH soap and water is good make sure that no soap is in it then put room temp water in it

- If there is no restriction on the exhaust gases to get out, the engine is more efficient and makes more power. When you put on mufflers and other exhaust items (including bends in the pipe), it causes a back pressure in the exhaust so that it has to be pushed out of the cylinder head (and some gets left inside and will not burn again / takes up space in place of oxygen)

- the kit you bought has all the pipes prebent to fit the specific vehicle, if you take the truck to an exhaust shop they can bend new pipes to make the kit fit however that will cost more than sending the kit back and getting the correct one. so no there is no easy way to make it work

- Id definetly go to a muffler shop. they can weld it all up sound and safe. Also before you pick a shop look at other guys who have pipes and if you like how they look or sound ask what shop they got it done at and go there. You dont want cheap pipes youll regret it

- The pictured system does not include a catalytic converter. Unless a converter is located on the engine pipe (upstream of the long pipe shown) installing this exhaust system would eliminate the converter. Converters oxidize unburned hydrocarbons and convert CO to CO? thereby improving air quality. The pictured exhaust system would not meet emission standards in many other States as well. (CARB is California Air Resources Board). The pictured system will not improve engine performance, (the splitter is too far from the outlet) but will attract Police attention due to excess noise. If changing your exhaust note is the objective, you can simply replace the existing muffler. If this is unclear, update your question. Please choose a best answer from among those you get.

- If you are running out of brake fluid you definitely have a leak. This is supposed to be a closed system so if the fluid disappears it means it is leaking somewhere. Let a mechanic check it cause when you run out of brake fluid you won't be able to use them anymore!

- a catback is the part of the exhaust from the catalytic converter to the end. These dont improve performance as the bottleneck of exhaust fumes will still be in the manifold and pipe leading to the cat box, these catback. These make the car sound powerful but lend almost nothing to its speed. If you buy a full system, it will include the manifold, pipe and cat box, which will mean you have a wider pipe for the whole thing, which reduces the pressure in the exhaust, allowing the exhaust from the engine to be transported away more freely. I would strongly recommend the full system if you plan on modding your car for performance. You can even just get the cat box for now, then buy the rest later on and install it. However, if you know nothing of cars, I would recommend getting it all done at once, so you save on mechanics labour cost. A good next performance improver would be getting a performance air intake, which is another good 'bolt on' mod which increases performance. remember to admit both to your insurer, otherwise you stand to have your insurance voided if you crash and they find it.
