- Q:1990 olds calais 4 cyl. I think. I have no exhaust system, muffler ,pipes, nothing. Car sounds like it wants to fall over and die. It still drives but the engine sounds really bad and the check engine light came on once. it is very rusted on the bottom like when it rains or snows there is puddles in my floor boards. how can i fix that? and how much would it be for a whole exhaust system for this car? Also, is it safe to drive it 10miles and then 10 miles back. I have to go to work tonite and I can‘t put it in the shop till the morning? please help i am really nervous to drive this car thanks.
- You cant placed a three equipment on that automobile and whether you do it rather is pointless cat returned. The exhaust is already retstricted with the diameter of the manifold, front pipe, and cat. you are able to pass to a keep and function them build an exhaust for you, we do it all the time. funds rather could selection on what precisely you want relating to piping and muffler. i could say even an honest muffler and custom exhaust below 450 money.

- the technique to use is use all your fingers. meaning keep your index finger and middle finger availible for brake useand the two other fingers for throttle use ONLY. practice with the bike off just using the two fingers for the brake and then all of them for the throttle. Go from throttle then quickly to brake with just the two fingers then back to throttle with all ( again, again, etc) then practice at a speed where you don't have to worry about shifting. get to a speed in hi rpm's then brake quickly to bring the rpm' s to the low end. I HIGHLY recommend the MSF course. Good luck! happy motorcycling!
- Q:CHANGEING EXHAUST
- The exhaust system has nothing to do with a BOV ( allows pressure in the intake, inner cooler to exhaust to the atmosphere), you need a turbo or supercharger to use a BOV so the answer is NO You can install a header and low restriction exhaust, but you will lose some low end torque, which this engine lacks to begin with. Unless you add a performance PCM you will gain little.

- Agree with what Gary and Nikolai said. A Faraday cage shields e-field noise. For h-field (magnetic) shielding you need a low reluctance shield; i.e., mu-metal.

- Q:Hi everyone, I‘m looking for an exhaust system for 1966 Chevy Impala. The one I have now is all rusty, and I cannot for the life of me find a replacement, OEM or aftermarket. - I am lost. I'm guessing the 1.4 is a inline 4 and the VR6 is a 6 cyl. So how again are you going to use a 6 cyl exhaust when you have only 4 pistons? to answer your question no and 2nd 2500 is alot for exhaust. euro american thats outrageous
