Various centrifugal pumps for pumping heavy slurry in agriculture, petrochem, manufacturing, energy and mining.
Pumps are designed and suitable for 3 main purposes:
1) Decrease electricity consumption and increase pump life
Our uniquely designed pumps limit slurry contact thus the efficiency is significantly higher and hence very big conventional slurry pumps can be replaced by a pump with a 20% of more smaller motor without affecting pumping performance. If energy bills and high cost of ownership is of concern, these pumps are the answer.
2) Lime and ash applications
Lime and ash pumping applications are particularly difficult for centrifugal slurry pumps because acceleration inside the pump causes the slurry to clump together into a solid clay degrading performance. We have a unique solution proven to work more efficiently and outlast conventional pumps.
3) High viscosity liquids
Superior throughput rates compared to gear and vane pumps using a unique new design. Great for bitumen, all emulsions and fats.
FAQ
1 How can I get trained on CNBM products?
Yes, we provide training courses in our factory (products, general and specific pump technology, hydraulics, and practical applications). Please consult your sales manager or get in touch with our headquarters for more information.
2 Are your pumps cheaper than those of your competitors?
CNBM aims to give its customers the highest standards of quality and service and delivery times, all at a reasonable price.
3 Are your pumps protected against dry running?
No, unprotected centrifugal pumps are not generally designed for dry running. It is important to give us or your dealer as much information as possible about the system in which the pump is used. Inlet pressure, the type of liquid to be pumped, together with relative density, viscosity and temperature, for example, are required in order to allow CNBM to recommend the right pump with the right gaskets for a long operating lifetime
- Q: my water pump has gone south on me and I want to repair it myself any ideas on how to will be greatly appreciated, do to space between the water pump of the engine and the chasi or body of the van that makes working on thi vehicle kind of difficult any knoledgeable instruction will be welcome. thanks for the help. I am in California, the name is Elmer
- drain cooling system, remove the fan belt. Remove the lower radiator hose, Remove nut from both front motor mounts. Remove alternator. Disconnect power steering pump pressure hose. Disconnect heater outlet tube from waterpump. Remove AC compressor front bracket, leaving compressor in place. jack up left side of motor about 5 inches. Remove waterpump bolts and nuts. Remove the drive belt tensioner pulley. remove the power steering pump with the hose still attached to it. and position it off to the side. Now remove the waterpump and gasket! reinstall in reverse order. This is taken from the Mitchell Repair Software.
- Q: Assuming that my water pump standard flow is 20m3/h, tolerance value requirements is + 8%, then is not traffic 22m3/h is not qualified?
- Tolerance coefficient is due in the manufacturing process, will, so each pump products are possible shapes and sizes do not conform to the pattern of the situation, and ensure the test results in the value (operating point) when compared, should be allowed to have a certain tolerance. It should be noted that these tolerances are only relevant to the actual pump and do not involve test conditions and measurement uncertainties. If the pump at a certain working point (the same lift) standard (Design) flow of 20m3/h, the actual flow of 22m3/h, indicating that the pump in the design process has unreasonable place, resulting in waste of power. Deviations from the manufacturing process usually have no positive deviation.
- Q: need to know the electrical connections for a Square D water pump pressure switch..Have a quot;blacka quot;Redand the quot;ground quot;of course
- The two source wires connect to L1 and L2. The two pump wires connect to T1 and T1. The grounds get grounded. When the pressure falls, the contacts pull together and connect L1 to T1, and L2 to T2, and start the pump.
- Q: Two sewage pumps switch from each other, start with float switch control, the first sump, when the water is full, the first start, the second rotation to second units start, so the cycle of alternating
- The puddle is full, the float switch is closed, and the relay J1 works to drive the first motor. The J1's work makes the intermediate relay 'J' work and locks itself, preparing for the work of the second machines. The water level is lowered to the required minimum position, the ball is broken, the motor is stopped and the motor is stopped. When the water level rose to the highest position again, the floating ball closed again, the relay J2 and self-locking relay J2 to drive second motors, instant intermediate relay are opened, when the water level again be reduced to the lowest position, float off, the motor stops working, stop by working in front of the intermediate relay. The whole circuit back to the original state. So that the two motors work alternately. It should be noted that the circuit diagram for simple to understand, only painted the control circuit, there is no main circuit, there is no missing phase, leakage, over-current and other protection, the actual installation needs to be installed. There is the role of time relay is to ensure that the relay J2 normal work, the intermediate relay is disconnected, so that the motor 2 does not occur wrong action, time relay can be set to a few seconds, or even less than a second. Intermediate relay can also be controlled by time relay, and its time is also set very small, so as to avoid J2 short time possible power supply.
- Q: My 2000 Chevy Cavalier (2.4L) has been overheating pretty majorly (within a 10 minute drive!) when it's been super cold out, about 5F. I took it to the shop and they told me it was my water pump. Right after getting out of the shop, the problem went away for an entire week and the car's temperature has been at exactly what it's been for years - never past 195. It seems to be back now, though not as severe. It's about 20F now.Could the weather have to do with this??Why would the problem go away like that?I'm female and definitely do not seem educated walking into a shop so they can really tell me anything and I'll buy it. I just wanna see if the problem going away like that makes any sense, or if I should just wait out long trips until it warms up outside. It doesn't look like I'm losing coolant, though my low coolant light goes in and out.I have no idea. Thoughts?Thank you!!
- The thermostat is on it's way out..and is sticking closed. Get a new thermostat installed and the engine coolant flushed and filled with a 50/50 mix. If it were the water pump you would have been loosing coolant and the problem would not have been intermittent. Take it to another shop as they are trying to rip you off for a water pump. Replacing a thermostat and flush is not that expensive ..
- Q: We have a 92 cadillac deville, my husband can replace the water pump he justs need to know if you have to jack the motor a little. Please help before our car blows up!!
- I have done them on the 4.9's. I dont remember having to jack up the motor for any reason. I do remember there are like 20 bolts that hold it on and there is not a heck of a lot of room to get at them. I think the reason someone mentioned jacking up the motor is some of the GM engines like the 3.1 or 3.3? to change the belt you need to take apart one of the motor mounts. Since the mounts hold the engine in you need to support the engine when you remove them. I remember the 4.9 being more like the 3800 in that its mounts go to the front by the radiator so they wont be in the way of the belt.
- Q: leaking coolant after the car engine has stoppped
- if your water pump is leaking fluid -its bad period- it should never leak unless installed incorrectly--signs for bad pump are-noise-grab fan blade wiggle if shaft moves-bad pump-open cap on radiator-no water moving-bad pump-bad pump--
- Q: Went to bring my car in to get all my belts replaced (minus the timing belt) My car was working fine, nothing was wrong with it. I pick up my car and get it home when I turn to get into the drive way there's this horrible squeal. I bring it back to Pep Boys and they tell me my water pump is broke. Now I don't know anything about cars, but is there a belt that they replaced that does something to the water pump? Please if you know about cars let me know. Thanks
- More than likely your water pump was about to go. If it has or had more than 50,000 miles on it, I wouldn't be suspicious of anything. Usually, the timing belt is right in there with the water pump and it is the most critical belt of them all. When you take your car back have them inspect it. A snapped timing belt can ruin your engine.
- Q: My car is overheating and i don't know why just trying to rule out as many options as possible.Things it is most likely not: blown gasket/cracked head, both replaced 2 years ago and no tell tale signs I will be doing a block test soon, thermostat replaced it and put the old one in hot water and it opened, hoses replaced with new one two years ago, no leaks pressure test a few days ago. Things yet to be ruled out The radiator being clogged or not allowing good airflow, water pump impeller failure.
- water pump is driven by the serpentine belt. if your belt is slipping then it wont run your water pump, so you could try getting another belt for like 20 bucks at an auto store. the heater is run electrically. well more importantly by a 'blower motor'. it could even be the blower motor resistor, they are connected to the blower motor, and usually have green tape on them. most likely it is going to be the water pump from what you have described
- Q: Leaks right under the water pumpOf my truck ford f-150
- The leaking water is telling you that the pump impellor is worn and you need a new pump. Sealed Unit, cant be repaired.
