- Q: I have a 1996 Tahoe, V8 5.7. I wanna get an aftermarket exhaust but I don‘t want it too loud. I want a nice low rumble. Something attractive. I used to have a 1990 suburban 2500 with headers and a cherry bomb kit and my neighbors hated me I dont want something to hear from a quarter mile away. A nice low rumble, something sexy. Any ideas? Im not too familiar with exhaust systems.Maybe if you have a youtube video or something, that would be cool.Thank You
- Try looking up Borla and Flowmaster exhaust systems and see what they have to offer. They both give you selections as to how loud you want it to be.
- Q: Exhaust systems, catalytic converters ,mufflers, muffler tips?
- catalytic converter, only need for smog, muffler is sound and performancemuffler tip is all cossmetic. exhause piping is sound and performance. next step, muffler style, circle straight style gives more performance and louder sound, oval cannister less performance and lowers sound, exhaust piping should be sized to your engine size.
- Q: Volkswagen is still cool 01089 tank exhaust system throughput is not correct
- Hello, this is the activated charcoal jam caused by the suggestion that you replace the activated carbon cans
- Q: I have a 1998 Mitsubishi Eclipse GS 2.0L, the car was just purchased 2 weeks ago, and before that had stored winters and no rainy days so needless to say, the underside of the car is remarkably rust-free and clean. But being it was stored, the header pipe ended up coming apart at the steel mesh area. It is going to cost 175.99 plus installation for the new header pipe, or I can spend an extra 80 and buy a full Catback Exhaust System for it. Is this worth it? Or should I just buy the header pipe by itself? Keep in mind that I don‘t want to have to spend a ton of money on installation whether it be by me or a garage.
- knee deep is correct in that it a cat back is truly from the catalytic converter to the tail pipe You said turbos as in 2 on your car WOW The whole spill with the X pipe is if you have a true dual exhaust up front on a V8 and two completely independent exhaust pipes that don't share any flow up to the the point of the X-pipe. It's design is to then assist with back pressure and flow at the same time. If your car is turbo charged, I'd let the turbo deal with the back pressure and make my exhaust a free flowing as possible to cut down on turbo lag. If your exhaust is restrictive it slows the flow and delays the spool up of the turbo. But let a engineer at some exhaust company determine whats best for you. Call around to several companies and you'll get a good idea on what you need
- Q: I own a 2008 Dodge Avenger SXT. I absolutely love my vehicle but I would like to make some changes to it. I‘m not very familiar with how a new exhaust system works or how much it will cost me, for that matter. Basically, I would like my car to be louder and sound meaner if it‘s possible. I have been told to get a new exhaust system, perhaps a dual? I have also been told about Cherry Bombs, but I‘m not sure i even know what they are. I would love to make my car louder but I‘ve been read these changes can cause a lose of torque/power. Is this true? If I can do this, what is an estimate it will cost? Help.
- Custom exhaust systems don't come cheap. It's a foolish thing to do anyway. Chances are that it will never pass an exhaust emissions test ever again, and it draws attention to yourself. Do you want the police to notice you a lot? Plan on spending over $1000. easily. Here's a cheaper thing to do. cut away the original muffler, and replace it with a straight-through glass pack muffler. It sounds tough, and it might even be legal where you are.
- Q: can a duel exhaust system fit on a 81 olds toronado 305 4 barrel? how or can one fit on the chassis
- Not worth it man up and get a z-o6
- Q: I have a 95 Dodge Dakota. My muffler fell off while driving. The exhaust pipes are very rusted. So I am replacing all the pipes and of course a new muffler. Do I need any special tools for changing this. And what level of difficulty is this job.
- For the best answers, search on this site shorturl.im/axapD Yeah first make a stone pick axe with 3 cobble stones and 2 sticks, once you have mined the iron ore put it in a furnace and add some coal to the bottom and you'll have usable iron for crafting.
- Q: Why should Roz blower place a check valve or check valve? Talk about the principle
- Roots blower fans are not allowed to reverse the general (because the inlet and the exhaust gap is not the same), so Roots blowers need to set the one end of the valve, that is, to allow the wind from the Roots The fan is entered into the piping system, but prevents the Roots blower from suddenly shutting down, while the system's gas receives the effect of the system pressure, and the return impact of the Roots blower causes the Roots blower to reverse and damage the Roots blower. In addition, when several Roots blowers run in parallel, assuming that one of them does not work, then the check valve can also prevent the exhaust end of the gas through this unused Roots blower, causing its reverse damage. - Q: I have a 2000 Ford Focus SE that needs a complete exhaust system. Anyone with any insight into a cost?
- start it, make sure it starts quick, listen for any strange engine noise, make sure the exhaust doesn't smoke, make sure there are no dents and scratches, meaning someone tipped it over, take it for a test ride if possible
- Q: 07 Honda civic coupe ex ( automatic ), I‘m looking for an exhAust system that sounds good at a fair price no more or around $300.
- its the removal of old fluid and replacing with new throughout the entire brake system. your brake fluid will last longer than you car this is a good scam most shops just suck out the reservoir and put new fluid in. this is ridiculous they havent changed the way they produce brake fluid so why would it be different now as opposed to 10 years ago i got a 1952 merc cruiser and it still has oe brake fluid in it and i drive the snot out of it. dont waste your time or money
