Q: I have a 99 2 door tahoe and i have a flowmaster super 44 and i want it to be a little louder how would i go about this? i dont really get the difference between a cat-back and a dual exhaust system for some reason it confuses me.: If you want louder than the Super 44, go to the summit website and pick yourself up some Dynomax bullets.these will get you the loudness that you are looking for and still not sound like an old P.O.S. truck. the difference between a cat-back and true duals is that the cat-back system is from the catalytic converter back and true duals run from the exhaust manifolds back. The factory setup is enginemanifoldsy-pipecatmufflertail. The y-pipe is a 2-into-1 pipe that connects the 2 exhaust manifolds to the 1 cat.

Q: What component(s) of the exhaust system are responsible for creating the back pressure. Is it the cats,mufflers,diameter of piping or is it something unseen? I‘m wanting to put some mufflers on my car ( flowmasters or thrush ) and I was told that if too much of the back pressure is relieved it would cause problems. My car is a ‘94 fleetwood with the LT1 engine by the way,: No you may't. whilst the piston rises and creates a favorable rigidity wave in the process the exhaust cycle the wave (exhaust gas) passes down the exhaust pipe. whilst the wave reaches the tip of the pipe, and exits, there's a resultant damaging rigidity wave that traverses back to the engine. whilst an exhaust device is designed the dimensions and diameter of the pipe are careful

Q: Can you put the factory duel exhaust on a 2004 impala that originaly came with single without any problems? thx, comparing LS series duel exhaust to regular plain impala single to see if you can interchange them.: the rear bumper cover is also different, unless you take it to a muffler place you would have to replace the whole pipe and that would be expensive

Q: Touareg exhaust system failure can continue to drive it: It does not matter, this is the exhaust gas detection sensor problems, you can go to 4S shop with a computer diagnostic device to see which parts of the sensor problems, you can use the detector to reset the next, if the problem still exists which sensor is not a problem Big problem, can drive, in the car parts in the airbag, ABS, engine failure and so on these safety components of the core can not be sloppy, but the exhaust does not matter

Q: i have a 2013 v6 challenger (3.6 LITERS) and the stock dual exhaust system sounds pretty good but its not loud enoughi dont have 500 bucks to change the whole exhaust system but i can afford the mufflers. now is it worth it?btw do they weld it in order to install it or they just use screws cuz i leased the car n i dont think im allowed to do thatplease help!: I have a Jeep Liberty with the 3.7L engine and it has a Flowmaster Super 44 on it. Sounds like a V8 on start up and idle, as well as in low RPMs. But once you get into higher RPMs it starts to sound kind of ricey. But the sound is 100 times as agressive as it was stock. Worth the money imo. I'd look at videos on YouTube of Challengers with exhaust beforehand so you can know what you'd like.

What does it matter if you know what brand it is? A simple call to the person you bought it from should tell you. No way we can tell from this distance.

Q: So a couple months ago I decided to cut my muffler off and straight pipe my truck. Sounds nuce but I kinda hate the sound now. Whats the best exhaust for it under 1000?
