Q:I own a 2001 T/A ws6 im thinking of getting the magnaflows 16723. They‘re great looking give plenty of hp and torque. But I wana know what are the stats for the other exhaust and how they sound loud and annoying or loud and deep? Does anyone know?
no but i have a dual exhaust those are great
Q:I have a 2009 VW GTI and i want a new exhaust. I am most likely getting a KN cold air intake later. But i want an exhaust system now for less then $500. I looked on youtube at some but I only found one that sounds good. BTW id like it to sound deep with a good growl and not all poppy and sputtered. It‘d be nice to have me give me one, that has a sound clip of it and a website where you can buy it at. I am also considering going to CarX auto shop to look at what exhaust systems they got their. NO UNIVERSAL EXHAUSTS THOUGH!
If you are looking to get better performance I would do a downpipe too, anyway, if you want some good parts for your vw I would totally recomend the following people: ecs tuning - bahn brenner motorsports - 034 motorsports - pag parts - integrated engineering all these guys above have the best parts hands down for Volkswagens
Q:Does the exhaust of a 2000 Honda CG125, in the UK, have any type of restrictors mounted in the exhaust pipe/silencer?If it does, do these limit the performance and can they be cut out easily, to improve the performance?Cheers--Mikey B--
The CG is a push-rod engine? Nope: Even Honda lawnmowers are overhead cam motors. The CG is not restricted. It only puts out about 8-10 HP anyway. Destroying the internal baffles will actually harm performance, as the bike's carburetion is already on the lean side.
Q:or it is better to leave it to a professional mechanic and forget about it?In this case the exhaust system is from a 1993 mercury sable,my transportation to high school.I do have the repair book and a bunch of tools, but i need some good tips! Thanks in advance guys.
easy kimber wear somehting sexy and hang out at the auto shop and have one of the boys do it its not a hard job
Q:I own a 05 Acura RSX type S with a race header already installed. I plan on installing a supercharger kit that will produce over 310whp. I just need a list of parts for an exhaust system and size. I don‘t want it to be too Loud. Thanks.
Search in your local area for the specialist exhaust fabricators, and also consult the owners' club members in your area, to find what they have found to work. Consider also, that you can't have it all - you either have a silent exhaust, and lose a lot of power, or a free-flowing exhaust, with a glorious, bellowing animal tone. An over-silenced, small-tube system WILL cost you power, so decide what is more important to you.
Q:what is the loudest and best type of exhaust system for a truck?
I have a Jeep Liberty with the 3.7L engine and it has a Flowmaster Super 44 on it. Sounds like a V8 on start up and idle, as well as in low RPMs. But once you get into higher RPMs it starts to sound kind of ricey. But the sound is 100 times as agressive as it was stock. Worth the money imo. I'd look at videos on YouTube of Challengers with exhaust beforehand so you can know what you'd like.
Q:If these are worn can they cause my exhaust to rattle?
yes they can cause your exhaust to rattle if they are worn. They are called exhaust hangers or exhaust mounts depending on who you talk to.They aren't that expensive to replace and are normally really easy to do.
Q:Motorcycle exhaust pipe principle
The exhaust system is from the exhaust port connected to the combustion chamber, through the exhaust manifold (ie, the head section), the middle of the exhaust pipe (including the catalyst section), to the exhaust pipe tail section, is the entire exhaust emission process.
Q:I have a 1998 Honda Accord V6 coupe and im wondering if i should get an exhaust for it. I am 17 years old living in New Jersey. I dont really care if it gains any performance(but i wouldnt mind). What I am mainly conserned about is if I will grow out of it quickly. I want it mainly because they look good and i will enjoy the sound for awhile, but im hopeing I will not grow out of it. Please let me know your opinion on them and how old you are (if thats ok), and let me know if you have any personal experience.
Don't get it, you are burning the candle at both ends. Modifying the car will shorten it's life. Yes, you will grow out of it!
Q:My gas dryer in my apt takes too long to dry and I wonder if an electric one would work better. Anything to avoid having to go through the wall exhaust vent I have now and apparently can‘t be unclogged fully
Both types of dryers must be vented. Where is the humid air going to go? Common sense. Clean out the dryer vent.
