Q: exhaust system for my truck?
Sorry, but drilling holes and bolting exhaust systems together must be a new concept. You're in the wrong place for a good Cat Back exhaust system. Go to the Dynomax Muffler Website and buy something decent.
Q: I have a Toyota Tundra (2003, 6 cylinder). Do you have any suggested component changes?
sure it wil get a small amount of horse power by changing them. but most likey you wouldnt see it so much as hear it like 15 to 20% gain maybe like only a few horse power like 5 to 15 more or less
Q: Or do I buy it separate?
It depends on the exhaust system you're buying. Most aftermarket exhausts are referred to as cat-back meaning it replaces everything from the catalytic converter to the back of the car.
Q: what would be the best exhaust system for a 73 nova which has a loud deep sound?
The best exhaust accomplishes the most intake scavenge. The best way to do this is with a single exhaust. They will always out scavenge a dual exhaust, when they're sized for the power output. Singles will out torque and out horse power a dual at RPM levels up to 7,000 for most American V8's. If your engine is all stock, I would put a single 2 1/4 to 2 1/2 inch system on it with a good Flow-Master muffler. You can get them with single inlet/dual outlet if you want the dual look, and nobody is the wiser. A single 2 1/2 inch system with clean bends will handle up to about 300 HP. A single will also give you better fuel economy.
Q: i know nothing when it comes to mechanics but i want my 08 Chrysler 300C 5.7 RWD to have a throaty rumble when i accelerate and quiet at idle. If you could give any suggestions on a brand and what is needed, i would be grateful.
The difference is how many wheels are pushing/pulling the vehicle along. All wheel will help if you are driving in the snow and on ice a lot, but a front wheel drive helps with this too. Rear-wheel drive pushes you along the road while front wheel pulls. When on slippery terrain (whether it be paved or not) front-wheel is better than rear because of the pulling factor. But, all-wheel drive is a good choice because if one or more of your tires cannot get traction, you are more likely to be able to drive with all-wheel. Again, this only really matters if you're going to be driving in the snow or anything like that. I'm not exactly sure on this, but it seems all-wheel drive would be more of a gas-user because it would be pushing all 4 wheels instead of only 2.
Q: rotten exhaust system transmission slips busted rear bumper it runs but its rough around the edges.
not much.maybe you should part it out instead.
Q: 1998 C280 catalytic converter rattling. Must entire exhaust system need to be replaced?
Yes the cat converter can be replaced separately. However, before you do so I would check to see if it is actually the culprit. Most commonly on Mercedes I have seen either the heat shields on the outside of the cat converter have come loose, usually from rust, or one or more of the rubber exhaust mounting brackets have snapped, which can allow the exhaust system to resonate a rattling sound as well.
Q: Car enthusiasts or a true owner please answer, my father and I are debating
Does your owner's manual call for additives? NO. Use what is recommended for your car. Make sure the oil meets the S ratings that is required. No other additives are needed, or should be used.
Q: Audi A4 exhaust system how to change?
You can use the German Repose modified under the exhaust pipe, before I use the car Repose exhaust pipe, launched moment is enough, and the sound is really to force.
Q: Would this exhaust system sound like rice?
NONE OF THEM I AM FROM ENGLAND OVER HERE WITH NO DOUT THE BEST PIPE IS A PIPE CALLED A ( CHERRY BOMB) IT IS A OLD SCHOOL PIPE. BUT ROCKS ON TONE YOU CAN STILL GET THEM ON E BAY. GET ONE YOU WILL LOVE IT .
