- Q: I have stock exhaust on my mustang. It sounds ok but I want a deeper and louder classic mustang sound. What is the best exhaust system for it?
- agreed because what want in a exhaust may not be what you want or invisioned. it may take a lot of time to find a exhaust you are happy with. not one that drones in highway traffic or too loud
- Q: I just bought a mustang and Im lost when it comes to exhaust systems
- I could be wrong, but as long as the entrance wasnt gated or they didn't break anything to get through, its legal. Its like having your car parked in your backyard with no trespassing signs all around.they can still go back there and get it. They are supposed to give you back your personal possessions but don't be surprised if anything ends up missing, this does happen. If you knew your car was out for repossession and it wasnt in hiding you should of never kept valuables like that in it. People are probably gonna tell you that you should of just made your payments.
- Q: cat back exhaust systems?
- Looks like the SR*S system is a better deal
- Q: Everywhere i look, all i can find are exhaust systems for simple 4 cyl accord engines and i cant find one for my v6 anywhere and its bugging me! Can anyone help?
- Nonsense--Meineke or Big AL'S HAS THE PARTS AND CAN MAKE THE PIPES. You can also Google Honda exhaust system--isn't that what search engines are for? C'mon--I just found one for my 24-year-old Toyota; a 12-year-old Accord V-6 should be child's play. Oh--and most cities have at least one repair shop that specializes in Hondas--there's no excuse for not finding parts for the #3-selling car in the world.
- Q: I have a 1996 Jeep Cherokee Country 4wd 4.0L 6cyl. I was told I need a whole new exhaust system and it would be $1,000 at the shop. I was hoping to buy the parts and have a mechanic friend put it together. What do I need? I know I need a Muffler, Tail Pipe (is that the same as an exhaust pipe?), and a Catalytic Converter. I‘m sure there‘s more so if you could please tell me that way I can get an idea how much it is to fix in parts alone. Best Answer gets 10 points, thanks!!
- how they usually steal it is they come with a flatbed truck just tie it and pull it up and drive away or simply pop the hood take the tranny thing off automatically u can move gears and pop neutral take with tow truck
- Q: help!!!
- gonna go is an open statement, are you having any issues like a loud exhaust?
- Q: I‘m trying to figure out what kind of exhaust system to put on my truck idk if i should go with straight pipes or if I should get a performance muffler and what size of exhaust tips should I put on it
- Magnaflow Performance Exhaust systems are by far the best on the market. They are all stainless, and come with a Lifetime Guarantee They have some awesome tips that are also covered for life against any rust or defects. Magnaflow costs a bit more than Flowmaster, but you will not be disappointed with the sound or the increase in power.
- Q: what is the difference between a slip-on pipe, and full exhaust system for a quad?
- A slip on canister can run you in the neighborhood of $250-500, depending on what your preference is. As far as any advantages that go with a slip on, might gain a wee bit more mid to top rpm hp, but nothing significant for your $250-500. Sound will be better than the stoker, remember, the OEM has to conform to noise standards also. A full system, let's start at the price; $800-2500, depending on what you are trying to accomplish. The full system is tuned to maximize hp on your specific machine. The other plus is, weight. You'll save on lot's of weight. Most streetable stainless systems can cost somewhere around $1000, give or take. Ones for racing made from titanium can run over $2000. Do what your heart tells you on this one, if sound makes you happy, check out other bikes like yours to see (hear) which you like the best and go put down the road!
- Q: I want my car to sound louder, what should I get? Flowmaster? Magnaflow? Or borla? What do you guys recommend?
- you can get an oil change for $16 these days. it costs at least that to buy what you need to do the job. so take it somewhere and get the oil changed. or get a boyfriend who can show you how to do it the right way.
- Q: I was going for more of a muscle sound, like a mustang or something, would straight pipes work?it is a 4 cylinder.2doorAny tips appriciated
- Hate to tell you but a 4 cylinder just isn't going to sound as good as a V-8. I have a custom exhaust on my turbo 4 and at idle it has a nice purr but you don't really hear much until I hit high rpm's. Don't get one of those fart can mufflers you see on the back end of rice mobiles. I recommend a Magnaflow cat back system or universal muffler.
