Q: I‘ve had a 2inch Sports Exhaust System put in my car about 4 - 5months ago and when my car is cold it seems to make a crackling noise as 1st i thought because it was new and had to wear in but it still makes it, is this all meant to be normal?Also there are days where it will sound nice and a deep sound, an then there is other days where i can hardly hear itI was told as well that you can get twin exhaust systems put in, my brother had told me about this Are you able to do this on any car?: If we knew the year make and model of your car possibly someone bakes a true dual exhaust system. The noise you're hearing is common when you shut the motor off and the exhaust system is cooling down. It's an expansion and contraction thing going on inside the exhaust pipes and what ever type of muffler you have.

Q: Exhaust systems, catalytic converters ,mufflers, muffler tips?: I've been having the same problems but I've been doing some reading. Muffler tips are mostly cosemetic, they are just for looks. They make your exhaust look nicer on the end, muffler is like a fart can they cost as much as 200 but as cheap as 20 bucks. They are mostly for sound and weld or attach onto your exhaust. An exhaust system is from what understand is from your engine to the back of the car, it gives a nice sound and is ussually 500-up in price they are an hp increase and let your engine breath better

Good, find a newspaper and another person and instruct them to do just that. VW's engineers spend thousands of dollars designing a cold air intake for that car, it's got a turbo doesn't it? Or, it's your money, waste it anyways, you'll lose power but what the hell at least you think your smarter for it. Q: i have a 63 chevy truck that a took the 292 straight six out of and put a 350 in but i cant find an exhaust system in a catalog or online. i know that they didnt make that truck with a 350 so thats part of the problem but alot of people put 350s in those trucks so where can i go to get my truck equipped with an exhaust system: Look up your year truck with a 283 engine it is the same stuff. But if you didnt use the correct exhaust manifolds (1963 style) or you installed it with headers the factory stuff wont work anyway. Just take it to any muffler shop and they can make up whatever you need.

What are some good reccomendations to look into getting?: u bought a chick car and want it to sound manly.lol.but honestly u can buy plenty of pre-made kits or just take it to ur local exhaust shop and have it hooked up unless u need stainless then this can b quite a bit cheaper than buying a kit and having it put onhelps if u no the guys running the shop:)
