Q:Will a nissan altima se-r exhaust system fit a 2005 nissan altima v6?
Just go and buy a cat back system BORLA or Greedy exhaust. All stainless warrantied forever. Nissan SER system will cost three times as much unless you find a used system. Good Luck
Q:I own a 2007 Ford F150 I‘ve owed it for 4 years already. It has a 4.6 v8 engine I was wondering how often and when is it recomended to change the exhaust system. Please help! I also would like to know what would be a good flow master that I can install.
there is no scheduled time to change your exhaust, although over many years, the catalytic converters can gum up. I would have an exhaust shop remove them if it is not illegal in your state, and there are no oxygen sensors in there. You should have sensors in the resonators, that prevent straight-piping. If it were my truck I would have only the converters removed altogether, or have high-flow ones put back so it can breathe! Then I would get dual flowmaster 40 series, ran out the back with chrome tips :) or you could also try thrush glass packs, they sound pretty good too.
Q:Is it headers to mid pipe to catback with the exhaust tips coming out from the rear Or is it mid pipe to headers to catback
Mid means middle so it's not at either end. Not all cars have headers. Google exhaust system diagram This is one that uses the word catback (which is new to me)
Q:i love how these cars sound and i wanna get the same exhaust system for mines what is it?
Infiniti uses Calsonic Kansei exhaust systems, but the exhaust is not the only thing that makes the exhaust tone what it is, you have to consider the design of the engine has a little something to do with it as well. You can't put a borla exhaust on a honda and expect it to sound like a borla system on a corvette.
Q:What you you personally think or know what exhaust will give me the best power gain in my 07 R1? There‘s just so many and I know good names like Akrapovic, Remus, Yoshi, etc., but has anyone seen some charts or anything? Or is there something out there that just blows them all away?
I like yoshi, most of the top brands will be pretty close. I like yoshi because they are light and strong and deliver the top power that a pipe can.
Q:Ipre exhaust is what? Is the sound simple?
Ice exhaust technology independent research and development of the JIM variable exhaust valve control system. When the valve turns off, the exhaust gas is drained from a smaller pipe and acts as an enhanced backpressure. High turn when the valve is opened, the exhaust effect is more smooth, to improve the horsepower effect. In the JIM system control system, control the operation of the computer is to be connected with the original throttle position sensor, according to read the throttle depth parameters to control the opening and closing.
Q:As of right now I'm going with BBK Long Tubes, Magnaflow Off-road Xpipe, and either 2 chamber flowmasters or maganaflows with 3 tips. This is probably what im going to get, but I'm just looking for some input of what could be better. No Cats at all so dont even try to say anything about cats, and they have to be 3 tips.
bassani is the best exhaust system out there for mustangs. I have kooks long tubes, bassani cat-less x-pipe and corsa axle backs on my 06gt and it sounds better than any other I have heard. bassani didnt make headers when I put mine together.but I am thinking of getting some.
Q:I want to get an Skunk2 Mega Power Exhaust System for my Acura 03 RSX (Base Model) part no. 413-05-1563. Does it come with Hi-flow cat? And also do you need headers and CAI before putting it on, because I already have AEM V2 installed. So does it matter if I buy the exhaust system and then later buy the headers for it?
First no it doesn't come with a Hi-Flow cat but you can buy one your self aftermarket that will match up no problem. CAI and Header are never needed to pair up with an exhaust but they do help in the end. They create a full free flowing exhaust path but they are not needed for your set up. Honestly the best set up for your car would be to just have the CAI and the exhaust, don't worry about the header. Having the header will make it flow more free but since your engine is N/A you need to have some back pressure to keep up the power and torque. Also if you buy new header you are going to sacrifice either your low to mid power band or your high power band depending on the type of headers you get 4-2-1 or 4-1. But over all to answer your questions, no you dont need those to use any aftermarket exhaust.
Q:I have a 1998 Mercury Tracer. I recently got a new exhaust: muffler, pipe, and gasket. (Cat back) could this new exhaust blow the engine? Because a day after I had the exhaust done, my mechanic said the cylinder of my engine blew up. Could this be because of a bad exhaust job?
No. If the exhaust is bad or blocked the engine will either run poorly or not at all. The engine will not run long enough to blow.
Q:My family's bathroom is very strange, the original exhaust is because there is a taste, but the opening up, often is the more row of smelly, can not find any reason to buy fresh air things, it seems that no effect, hope we all know Help to see what the reasons, and I was here to decorate less than two years time.
To see if the smell is not from the ground to return out, if it is, for a deodorant floor drain, so that when there is no water, the ground drain is closed, the taste of the sewer does not come, only when the water will be opened, This will solve your problem
