Q: I just bought myself an 02 Toyota Yaris T Sport, its a fantastic wee car i love it BUT it came with a stainless steel back box which has a tip which around 3-4 inches in diameter lol.needless to say it isnt quiet.part of the reason i love the car is because its quick, but no1 expects it to be quick -but its not as inconspicuous with a really loud exhaust - so.do i need to change the whole back box (muffler + tip - i think?) or just the tip?the car also has an apexi filter but the sound ultimately comes from the exhaust lolso yea. tip or muffler + tip?cheers!
mufflers usually come with a new tip so you would have to buy a new muffler. btw that car is not that quick.
Q: I have a Honda XR125L4 (2004 Reg obviously)-Recently the end of my downpipe rusted It turns out I need to buy a whole new exhaust to replace it as it isn‘t possible to have a welder fix the end for me. So I was thinking, instead of buying a new standard Exhaust system, I‘d be better of buying a Sports Exhaust System for the XR, providing that there are any out there for a reasonable price?Names of the exhaust systems, approximate prices Whether or not they‘d actually help to increase performance would be much appreciated. Thanks.
Its a 125cc 4stroke. Changing the exhaust will give close to nothing more in performance, maximuim 2 mph more. Id say try to get the original exhaust, as you wont have to use extra money on a tuning one and rejetting.
Q: i do a lot of off roading and i would enjoy a lot more sound coming from my exhaust. i have a flowmaster muffler on it right now but its only loud at around 4000 rpms. i want something with sound throughout the rpms. any suggestions? thanks
If you are worring about the posibility of the diesel freezing, the answer is probably no.Diesel fuel is different in the north and the south.
Q: I recently had a new catalytic converter and exhaust system installed so what problem could this be?
5W30 would be advantageous. continually use the comparable oil, type, grade, etc. the only human beings i comprehend who've had lubrication themes replaced oils - relatively %. one, and carry on with it. replace the oil and filter out generally. in case you do not comprehend what became used before, decide on your oil and filter out, replace it, force under a hundred miles, and alter it lower back. this could flush out the gunk. the difficulty is a few oil's chemistry's react with others in a bad way.
Q: Who was the first person to own a exhaust system???
ceramic flat irons are the best .because the ceramic make its really hottry a beauty supply store
Q: On my 2005 Ram Hemi with single exhaust, I like the mellow quiet tone of the stock muffler. I figure the single exhaust system is restrictive, so I was thinking about dual exhaust. I don‘t wanna buy a high dollar system, and I wanna keep it quiter than aftermarket. Do you think a local muffler shop can free up some HP with their home-made dual system and some stock mufflers?
Yes as long as they leave the senors in place or U will be having check engine light on.
Q: can a duel exhaust system fit on a 81 olds toronado 305 4 barrel? how or can one fit on the chassis
The Toronado and the Delta are two completely different vehicles. The Toronado is front wheel drive, Delta is a conventional rear wheel drive. The exhaust systems will not just bolt on from one to the other. But any muffler shop can custom build a dual exhaust system for you for $200-400 depending on what mufflers you choose, if you go with a second catalytic converter that cloud add another $200 or so.
Q: Was gonna get dual exhaust system - but I‘m thinking of just getting a performance muffler on my stock single exhaust as its significantly cheaper and I like the sound clip the shop showed me,but is that okay? will people make fun of me that its not dual? will it still be cool?
personally i find adding performance parts to economy cars repulsive to begin with, but i would not laugh. id tend to laugh over the dual exhaust though.
Q: is the catalytic converter off the manifold or underneathe the car near the front with the lamda sensor on it,or is it the silencer iv have been told 2 diff things thank you
It is the catalytic converter.
Q: I am looking for the absolute loudest exhaust system i can put on my 03 v6 mustang. If anyone can help me that would be appreciated
just rip out all the exhaust and stick some pipes directly to the manifolds or headers. its mean nasty sound.
