Q: I also plan on upgrading the Intake System. I just had this car up on a lift when having new tires put on and just realized hw immaculate it is. The undercoating kept everything flawless! No dents, knicks, scratchs, rust anywhere! The exhaust however is starting to rust a bit and I want to replace it. I see a lot of low cost cat back systems (around $150) and headers ($200) but wonder if the more expensive ones make a difference? I want something that is going to last!
To buy a set of headers that will make a real difference, you'll need to spend at least $400. But you need other supporting mods.
Q: i was looking at some intakes and exhaust system online but dont know what brand or kind to buy, any suggestions? also maybe what are the pros and cons of getting these upgrades
hey i just got it all done and i got the skunk2 cat back exhaust, with a DC header.with a injen cold air intake this is what my friend recomended for me (he is a licenced acura and civic mechanic)for budget and power. it has provited quite a noteable power gain. the only down fall i can see is the weight from the cat back but the header is lighter than stock and the cold air can suck up water, but all in all worth ithope this helps
Q: i love how these cars sound and i wanna get the same exhaust system for mines what is it?
Infiniti uses Calsonic Kansei exhaust systems, but the exhaust is not the only thing that makes the exhaust tone what it is, you have to consider the design of the engine has a little something to do with it as well. You can't put a borla exhaust on a honda and expect it to sound like a borla system on a corvette.
Q: How the hydraulic system is exhausted
Hydraulic system exhaust usually refers to the new installation or new maintenance is completed after the first action, to exclude the air in the pipeline.
Q: What does the car suggest about the discharge system failure?
Computer tips are the phenomenon of failure, that is, the discharge system is not normal, but there are many possible root causes of failure, such as fuel supply problems, ignition problems, intake problems, sensor problems, electronic control problems, etc., maintenance stations should be ruled out one by one, And can not blindly change parts, or to the issue of oil to push the Committee. The best solution is to ask you to find a maintenance level and service level slightly better repair station for maintenance, or ask the host factory to send experts to the scene overhaul, please also through the "online complaints" to provide a detailed complaint.
Q: should I install aftermarket muffler?
The reason is you only went slightly bigger then stock. The stock exhaust was likely 2.25 inch and most of the Magnaflow systems are 2.5 inch. A 3 inch exhaust would be louder and cost more to purchase. You should now have a cold-air intake installed to take advantage of the airflow in and out.
Q: Does the exhaust of a 2000 Honda CG125, in the UK, have any type of restrictors mounted in the exhaust pipe/silencer?If it does, do these limit the performance and can they be cut out easily, to improve the performance?Cheers--Mikey B--
get a 2 stroke 125 if you want a fast bike the cg is a work horse and isn't ment to be played with they can go at 60mph all day and thats about it.
Q: They will be for a 2008 HD Road King. I‘m not looking to shake windows in my neighborhoodjust something louder than stock. I‘ve been looking at Cobra slip on‘s.
This would take some experimentation on your part. But one thing you need to know is that its not the same as other soldering. So you're going to have to get a propane soldering kit. Like 20$ or less at Home Depot or Lowes. And also a wire brush, emory cloth, etc. But in attaching cooper to galvanized pipe, I would try looking for a compression fitting for going from that size of galvanized pipe to the copper pipe and not do any soldering. If the galvanized pipe has no threads, get a die to thread it.
Q: I have a 03 chevy dmax and the exhaust is stock, i was wondering if you people out there know any systems that will make my truck sound cool like the sound of the spooling turbo or like a jet, and preformence
Look for a Gale Banks distributor, or check-out his web site.
Q: How long does it take to install a full exhaust system is a typical car. without needing cat backs
Axles are the wheels on the top and the bottom. Axle to axle means the length from them, usually meaning the hight of the bow.
