- Q: Is there a water pump with its own flow regulating function?
- Pump with adjustable flow depends on your useThe ordinary displacement pump, which has a small flow rate, can set the flow rate per second into the system and is widely used in the laboratory.Large flow regulating flow pump is mainly variable frequency pump, through the electrical signal feedback regulation, change the pump water storage flow. The main thing is to see your flow, and then determine what you want to pump!
- Q: My water pump was replaced 3 months ago,but it stopped spraying water yesterday, How do I unclog the intake / Outflow?
- check the thermostat, it could be clogged.
- Q: Pump house should be equipped with those equipment and valves
- 1. The inlet and outlet of the pump shall be equipped with a control valve, and the outlet shall be equipped with a check valve;2, lower than the pump suction the water tank, water pump entrance to bottom valve, and piping and valves equipped with irrigation. Or equipped with other water pump irrigation facilities.3, more than one pump system should have the total valve and contact valve.4, the corresponding control equipment.
- Q: My 93 Ford t-bird over heats and i really don't know what could be the problem, the radiator is working fine, and also the fan and the thermostat, i don't think is a head gasket because the oil looks alright with no contamination and there is no steam coming from the exhaust im beginning to suspect the water pump but the weep hole is not leaking. So does a water pump MUST leak from the weep hole if it is bad, or it could be bad and not leak? thanks in advance...
- Water pumps fail with some regularity--you can expect to replace yours sometime before 100,000 miles, if not sooner, and here's how to do it.Step2Locate the water pump pulley. The pulley is the round part that the belt is attached to. To find it, look for the belts. You will see more than one pulley. Your car will have an alternator with a pulley and perhaps an air conditioner power steering and smog pump pulleys. If you are unsure, ask your mechanic to point out the water pump pulley. Step3Grab opposite ends of the round pulley and check for play (looseness): Try to rock it back and forth. There should be no give. If there is, the bearings are going and it's time to replace the water pump. By the time you can feel play in the water pump pulley, you may also be able to hear the bad bearing when the engine is running - there may be a low-pitched grinding noise coming from the water pump pulley. Step4Visually check the water pump (it's located behind the pulley) for signs of a coolant leak. If the water pump gasket is leaking, it must be replaced. This is a good time to get a new water pump, too, unless it was just recently replaced.
- Q: looking for ideas and info to build a simple and rustic wind powered pump for a backyard pond. I don't want to use any elecricity and I would like to create something that once its made, will be trouble free and simplistic in operation. I esp. want info regarding the vane design and the method of drawing the water. I would appreciate any web sites, but I don't want to buy any pre-designed thing or plans.
- I suggest you buy one ready-made if you want trouble-free operation. Here in rural NZ they're common on farms. You can buy versions that stop pumping when your pond water has reached a certain level. They don't need any electric power and they work for years without problems. As you probably know, suction pumps can only raise water about 10 metres, but I think you can buy wind-powered pumps that push the water up from below. The vanes are connected to the piston at the bottom of the bore by a linkage.
- Q: Here we have 3 sets of centrifugal pumps, as production water, 2 by 1, because the production is not allowed to stop, so we want to change for a pump, the original two pumps to stop, and three water pumps on the amount, and then stop the pump, but not on the third pumps the amount, do not know what the reason, the master to help, thank you very much..
- You should look at the suction port of the pump, there is no check valve, if there is water will not flow back to the pump bodyIf the pump is not water and not bad, the main reason is that the pump does not flush water, or suction pipe into the air
- Q: My Ram is leaking collant bad but it doesnt seem to be coming from the water pump it seems like it is coming from directly below the water pump. What part is this and is it even possible for this part to be leaking coolant?
- pump bad or a hose above pump leaking 90% of time pump bad get a flashlight to see more or get a better look have it put on a lift at a shop but most likey water pump gone
- Q: Engine problem 1999 Nissan Sentra 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic 165000 miles ---------------------------------------------------------------- I have a leaking water pump that has to be replaced. I am calling around getting prices and some people tell me that I have to do the timing chain at the same time and that will be a great deal more money. Can I just replace the water pump? It seems that the water pump only will be about 200.00 but both could be 500.00. Please help
- You can replace the water pump and not do the timing chain. Timing chains are not designed to need replacing. If it is a belt then changing the water pump is halfway to changing the belt, so I would go ahead and do that because 165000 is a lot of miles on a belt that was probably changed at 60 to 75,000 miles. And it should not be $500.00 if the water pump was only $200.
- Q: Hi! I need to find out what kind of water pump I need to buy for an 1978 Swinger RV we just bought to refurbish. I've searched the internet, but nothing seems to tell me what kind I need.
- I believe they used a Dodge chassis for the swinger, now all you have to do is figure out which engine you have.
- Q: I have an ls vtec set up on my 89 EF si, I want to install a better oil and water pump. I m thinking of going with GSR. BUt my question is are all years gsr oil, water pump the same?
