- Q:i have just bought a coachman 1994 wanderer but water pump do`snt work,there are 3 wires to pump socket inside the van,white,red,yellow,only the white was fitted and reads 12v to earth,the other 2 read 6v to earth, any help as I cant find a wiring diagram on net !
- you say the water pump.? or is something Al's? water pomp do not have wires it may have the sending unit for the tap riches on but the pomp is totally mechanical unit. the pomp is running by a belt to simulate the water and cool the engine, all batteries have 2 pols or an top or at the side you must remove both pols. it Sims to me that you have no technical knowledge on cars atoll. before you destroyed the van, give it to a mechanic to check it.

- You need timming belt water pump and water pump silicon the tools for the jobs also. it is not a easy job to do just so you know. Make sure you have a chilton book for the info you need to make sure timming belt is put on right with the cam lined up.
- Q:This is what it is doing- the actual pump that is in its own little shed CLICKS all of the time water is being ran, even a small amount of water. The water pressure goes to a slow trickle and eventually stops completely. After about 20-30 minutes I go back and check the spickets and the water is fine, but quickly repeats this same cycle. - The pump will not have to work until the water drains by gravity to the level of the spout. Then, Work = Weight of water * Height of lift Find the distance, d, of the center of mass for the remaining water in the bottom 2 m of the sphere. The height of lift will then be 2m - d. The hardest part is finding the distance d to the center of mass. I don't remember how to do that.
- Q:Power went out of my house and we just had it restored, though now the water is no longer running. We called the people who installed our pump and they told us they would need to dig up the well which is going to cost $1500. However i remember a time before where this happened and all we needed to was reset the switch. Do you think these ppl are trying to get me for my money? - the first thing to do is make sure your switch contacts are closed...if they are not and the switch has a handle on the side of it, lift up the handle until the contacts close....once the pump starts working and builds up 20 or 30 pounds pressure it will start working the way it is suppose to ...you would only need to dig up the well and pull the pump as a last resort...and since the pump was working before the power went out..Most likely all you need to do is figure out how to start it...if it is a jet pump (above ground pump) then all you might need to do is prime it to get it started again.....so your pump is a jet pump ?? how much water did they use to try to prime it with??it takes one gallon for every ten feet of pipe in the well.....if your pump is in the well it does not have to be primed...

- I think the water pump for this car is timing belt driven, and the pulley is part of the pump. Don't you have the new pump to look at? If it's not driven by the timing belt, then you remove the 4 bolts counter-clockwise, then the pulley should slide off.
