Hydraulic performance:
It adopts the internantional advanced computer aided software and the modern design methods(namely optimum design and reliable design approach) for the hydraulic and structural design of the pump so that TPOW double-suction pump boasts efficient and noticeable resistance to cavitation. Compared with home-made like products, this series of product has a 2-4% higher efficiency and noticeably stronger cavitation resistance, which will save a lot of capital for the user .
Structural Features:

Working Conditions:
The maximum working pressure of TPOW volute double-suction pump system is 2.5Mpa, namely pump inlet pressure +pump lift head≤2.5Mpa,and the test pressure of pump static pressure is 3.75Mpa. According to the maximum pressure that the pump body can bear, the materials for body and bonnet adopt the grey cast iron(1.6Mpa),spheroidal graphite cast iron(2.0Mpa)and cast steel (2.5Mpa). Please note the pump′s bearing pressure or materials in the order. This series of pump can transport the clear water or other liquids with similar physical and chemical properties as clear water with temperture T≤105℃.

- Q: i have a 1993 chevy cavalier z24 3.1 what all do i need to do to get the water pump off and replace it
- I believe if you are looking at the motor the water pump will be to your left on top of the motor and to the front. Drain the radiator. There is a big smooth pulley that turns the water pump loosen the 4 10mm bolts, remove the belt the remove the bolts. Under the pulley there will be 5 or 6 8mm bolts remove those, make sure a drain pan is under the pump because there will be some residual coolant in the motor. Scrape the old gasket off of the engine block then reverse the procedures to install the new pump. Make sure you torque the pump to the proper specs so that the pump housing does not distort. You can pick up a Chiltons manual for that car a local parts store that can walk you through this in greater detail with pictures. Good Luck

- This is a simple repair but I'd recommend that you get a service manual, ether a factory manual or one of the generic Seloc manuals. The key things to do are mark the trim tab so you can put it back in the same position after repairs. Drain the oil. Removing the bolt that is in the hole at the back end of the upper housing, as well as all the obvious Nuts. both above and under the cavitation plate. Put the drive in forward gear, which takes the tension off the shift shaft. Once all the nuts and bolt are loose. Jiggle the drive and it will separate from the upper housing. You now have access to the water pump housing. Remove the housing and pull it up and off the d. Shaft. Inspect fully and account for missing impeller blades. When you re assemble Lube the impeller and put the drive key in place and put the impeller in place. Slide the housing down to the impeller. You can use ether th drive shaft or the propeller to turn the drive shaft in a clockwise direction as you apply pressure on the housing, It should slide down over the impeller. Reassemble in reverse order. Slide the drive shaft up into the upper housing turning the D. shaft using the prop to turn the shaft. Watch the water tube slip into the guide tube. Once it's in place put a couple nuts on then check the gear shift to make sure it goes F-N-R. Bolt up and fill with oil. Good Luck!

- Q: Im changing the water pump on my explorer. As i was unscrewing the bolts one of the heads to the bolt wore out and now its really hard to take out and its giving me a headache. any ideas of what i should do to take it out?
- If there's tail of the screw still out ,use an alligator clamp wrench . clamp it as hard as you can ,then spray some WD-40 waite 5 minutes and then try to open it . If it brake from inside the trade ,there's no way except drill small size hole than the screw, in the screw and then use left turn opener wrench (buy it from auto zone or home depot) direction of the use it's on the Package .It is a left turn traded screw with square end . After you get ride of that screw for re installation use high temperature grease and apply to the tread ,make sure pump cap it's not deform ,if is deform buy new and apply grease to the washer gasket before install .
- Q: Is there a way to test and see if it is the water pump that causes the car heater to blow hot air one time and then, next time it blows cold air? We flushed the heater core and did other tests, so we do not believe it is the heater core. We left the radiator cap off and ran the car (ford thunderbird..'94) for 20 minutes and watched the antifreeze level come up, but doesn't go down, not circulating. We cannot afford to go to another garage. None of them seem to know what to do anywyas and we keep paying people to fix the heater and it is not fixed. We have put two new thremostats in car, too, figuring that maybe the first one may have been faulty, but should we try that again?

- Q: When my wife was driving on freeway, the alternator belt broke and battery sign showed up. She also told that the temperature gauze showed high. Luckily she reached home with the battery fully charged. When I checked under hood, there was coolant spill surrounding water pump . I could not figure out where the coolant came from. - For one thing. Once the belt breaks your battery light will come on because the alternator can't charge the battery anymore and also your car will overheat if you have a serpentine belt because once the belt is broke nothing will move anymore including your water pump. Your leak probably came from the overflow tank which is normal when a car overheats. You don't seem to know much about cars so I assume that you really don't know where the water pump is. Change the belt and than hope to god that she didn't run the car to long while it was hot to crack the head gasket . oh and make sure you add enough coolant back to the cooling system before you start the car again
