The pump can be used for farmland irrigation and drainage, industrial and mining dock, urban construction, drainage of power station.

The transmission medium is the water or other liquid similar to the water on physical and chemical property, the max temperature of transmitted liquid is 40℃.

Q:changed the thermostat. it overheats but cools down a heat bar or two idling at stoplights. i filled up the coolant reservoir when i changed the thermostat, drove it about 2 miles(engine was already up to temp when i started) and it overheated. drove it two miles back going about 35-40 and it never went above normal but was still overheating. checked the reservoir and it was empty. stuffed a hose in it and plugged it up with a towel to force water in to see if it was leaking anywhere, no leaks. while running with the rpms up the top hose is easy to squeeze. makes me think water pump. but if i go over 45 it over heats makes me think clutch fan.
well if it is the water pump you will have a small hole ( tale tale hole ) and it will be leaking water to let you know its out. and clutch fan there will be alot of play i have seen people stop them with there hand but i dont advise it
Q:Does the water pump pump the coolant into the engine or pump it out?
The automobile water pump pumps the coolant into the engineThe effect of the water pump is used for cooling the engine; it is the coolant pump in the water tank into the engine of the channel, when the engine temperature is about 93-98 of the body's arrival, the thermostat engine open, cooling fluid from the thermostat back into the tank....
Q:My car broke down yesterday and is waiting to be towed to the mechanic (2000 Dodge Neon). I'm pretty sure the Timing Belt broke, but my water pump was broken in the process and leaked out lots of water. Would the timing belt break the water pump when it snapped? Or does the broken water pump lead us to a different conclusion? Any thoughts or ideas would be appreciated. Also I was reading online today about interference engines, but couldn't find a list to verify if I have one of those or not. Anyone know? Thanks!
bearings in the water pump pulley went out and locked up therefore causing belt to snap
Q:My mechanic said I have a very small coolant leak and that in the future I might need to replace it.He said I should keep an eye on my coolant level.Anyone like to comment on how how a quot;small leakmight develop into a quot;major leakthat needs to be urgently addressed? He also said that to replace my water pump, he would charge $400. Is this expensive?(I have a 1996 VW Jetta)
most water pumps have a small port hole in the pump housing. when your internal seal and/or bearing begins to wear out, you will get a small amount of fluid seeping from this hole. CAUTION, this leak will get much worse, not better. address this problem promptly. the price of repair might be in line depending on parts availability and your location.many mechanics in my area charge up to $40 an hour labor plus materials.
Q:Is there a way to test and see if it is the water pump that causes the car heater to blow hot air one time and then, next time it blows cold air? We flushed the heater core and did other tests, so we do not believe it is the heater core. We left the radiator cap off and ran the car (ford thunderbird..'94) for 20 minutes and watched the antifreeze level come up, but doesn't go down, not circulating. We cannot afford to go to another garage. None of them seem to know what to do anywyas and we keep paying people to fix the heater and it is not fixed. We have put two new thremostats in car, too, figuring that maybe the first one may have been faulty, but should we try that again?
On many cars you cannot see the coolant circulating especially at idle. Just because you do not have heat does not mean the water pump, and if your car is not overheating it is probably - I say probably - doing its job. So stop putting thermostats on, probably assume the water pump is okay. So, put a thermometer into the radiator to see how hot the coolant is getting - should be ~180 degrees or so. Hmmmm - Does this car have an electronic climate control system? Perhaps that is the reason you have an intermittant problem. Assuming manual climate control - It could be a vacuum leak to one of the manual vents that is allowing cool air to mix with the hot. Or, maybe the slider from hot to cold is not working. What troubles me is the intermittant problem here. So, I will go out on a limb and say it could possibly be a bad head gasket for reasons I will not get into here. In any case, Good Luck!
Q:I am trying to increase the pressure of my shower and I am looking to install a water pump. Does anyone know what kind of pump would work well for this? I don't want a big pressure pump, just a small one that will be cheap.
its called a demand pump when you turn the shower on it kicks on
Q:i replace all the seals on the water pump reinstalled it and the same thing happened... it leaks out the bottom some where and run down the water pump and down the hot side radiator hose... any ideas?

Q:Installation position of check valve for water pump
Check valves must be installed at the pump's exit and position before the outlet control valve for servicing the check valve.Jiang Yuanyuan 1985's statement has a problem:1. On the flow of water, because the fluid is continuous and incompressible, the water in any part of the pipe will not flow as long as it is cut off in any position in the pipe.2, self suction exhaust is formed within the pump in outlet pipe, check valve installed in the inlet, because the pressure is low, is not conducive to automatically open the check valve, and its resistance, easy to form a vacuum pump and cavitation.
Q:Is there a water pump with its own flow regulating function?
It has a water pump with adjustable flow capacity, I used it. Can also landing professional production pump manufacturers web site inquiries.
Q:What is the average life of a water pump in a car?
From my experience the average life expectancy is 7 to 10 yrs depends on usage. Seems like they last longer when used more often. Hope this answers your Q' BIG CHEO
