The rotation direction
Viewed from motor, the direction of the pump is anti-clockwise,that is the suction in the left, the discharge in the right.
The rotating direction of the type pump is clockwise, that is the suction in the right, the discharge in the left.
Also can move the driver to another edge according to the user’s requires. Then, the rotating direction, the suction and discharge direction is in the opposite as the described above.

- It's very easy to change. It's driven by a serpantine belt but it's off center Right up front closer to the radiator and on top. Break the 13mm pulley bolt's loose, remove the belt, remove loosened pulley bolts and pulley. Then there's like 6, 8mm bolts to remove the pump and that's it. You might have to remove the overflow tank to make it easier to get to. The pump is round and looks like it will go on any 'ol way but it doesn't. It only goes on one way.

- Q: The water pump doesn't seem to be leaking but I do have a leak under the engine in a place I can't get to. The water doesn't seem to be getting to the upper hoses of the engine. I do hear a odd sound like lose rocker arms but its hard to tell where its coming from.This engine is to big for this boat there is no room to work on it except to pull the engine. - Just like you do on the car since they are built somewhat the same. Most engine water pumps for cars have weep holes one on top and one below the water pump shaft. When the seal goes it will leak from the holes. Second test is grab the shaft or pulley and move it up and down and side to side without the belt on it and if it clicks or moves around its bad. Or remove the pump and check to see if the impeller is broken off or missing..

- If you are connected to a campsite water supply you do not need a pump. The pump is only required to deliver water from the fresh water tank of your camper to the faucets and if equipped toilet of your camper when you are not connected to City water, ya I know I have probably been connected to an actual City water supply 4 days in over 10 years of trailer camping... but any campground water supply is referred to as a city supply in the trailer literature. The only accessory I recommend to have is a combination filter which will stop both sediment ( very common in campground water lines ) and secondary charcoal filter which will reduce both taste and chemical intrusions on your system / palate. Would I buy a basic system demand pump? Yes, but if the cost of the pump stands between your camping season and your camping plans for the season, cancel the pump and camp!

- As far as I know Bars stop leak will not work on a moving part like the seal on a water pump. This is an opportunity to have fresh anti freeze in your car. Get the water pump replaced and have the system drained and filled with fresh. Use a pre-mix or dilute regular antifreeze with distilled water. Many places have hard water which clogs radiators and heater cores. Take care that the system is bled of any air when refilled.. Anti freeze contains water pump lubricant for the seal. If it had been changed last year you may not have this expense now.
