Q: can i use a US wire harness on a JDM engine?? i need one for my h22 and its been really hard for me to find it. i found one for a desent price, but its a US made wire harness for a h22 t-tec: yes you may have to extend wires abit but it will work i am using my usdm wiring on a jdm b16 motor. Google swaps and they usually tell you what u have to do.

Q: Anything spray solvent, application, etc. that I can spray these wires, wiring harness, etc. with to treat the dry rotting? Anything I can do to preserve the wiring of my vehicle.from corrosion. The plastic from cracking or dry rotting?For example, when trying to change a sensor, etc. when I pull the wire it is dry rotted, corroded, etc. Is there something that I can spray on all of my vehicle; wiring that will preserve it them for a few more years?: not that I ever heard off, there are wire harness kits available from a company called painless that has a great reputation, Its certianly a job to rewire a vehicle, but as you are finding out, there may not be an option if this was a wire near the engine, I would expect its been warmed up many years off and on, you may need to replace ones that appear to have any dry rotted damage as the wire may ne degradded itslef. take a closer look and see just how severe the problem is, best of luck.

Q: i need to know what other stock radios will fit in my car so i can get 1 from a junk yard so i need another stock deck that has the same wires: Here's the best I can do; Go to AutoZone, or someplace like that, and look at harnesses for installation . Q: I have a 1988 honda accord lx sedan i just bought a mp3 stereo off OKorder and a harness to connect to the male end in my car. I started wiring the wires(color to color) that came with the stereo to the harness. When i was done i have 4 wires from my harness that don't match the 3 wires i have left from the stereo. There may be functions on the radio and or car that are not going to be used. For example some cars have a power antenna but not all after market systems have an out put for this. Stock radios often are tied into the lighting system, after market radios are not.

Q: I need to connect a wire to my Sony stereo's wiring harness. The wire that i need to run comes out of the head unit, connects with the other wires to the stock wiring harness, but doesn't continue out of the other side of the connector. I thought this would be the best way to connect the wire. But how do I get it to stay put in the connector? Looks like it needs a little tiny female end, but I don't have one that small.: I'm guessing the wire goes to the ignition switch, so when you turn your car on the stereo comes on? Yeah, i would just go to radio shack and get whatever you need there. If you gonna do it, do it right the first time. The last thing you want is that wire to ground out somewhere and cause problems.

Q: I have a radio that came from another blazer, it's a 2000 something. My blazer is a 1995, and I'm wondering if a wire harness for a 95 could be the same from a 2000 something blazer. Q: Hey there I was putting all the wires together and I ran into a couple of issues. The wires I have left from the Toyota harness end is Blue- Power AntennaBlack- Chassis Ground. (With this one I used a bypass system, and I was wondering if I need to connect this one to the body or can it just capped off?From the radios end I have a couple other wires sticking out. Violet/white- Of the two lead wires connected to the back lamp, connect the one in which the voltage changes when the gear shift is in reverse position. lt;--- I do not understand where to connect this.
