I have come to find that it's been discontinued and I need it very bad I have also called every salvage yard in my whole area and been on OKorder and craigslist. Please help I need this replaced as soon as possible! If it helps any my truck is 4.3 V6 Vortec multiport fuel injection with the w vin. it's only 2WD and is all electric inside.: Many companies make re-manufactured parts that have been discontinued. Try AutoZone or another parts store like this to see if any of their companies make it. If not, speak with your junk yards again. If any of them were nice, ask them if they will search for the part for you. Junk yards have a communication system which will let them search all over the country for parts. Certainly, someone somewhere has the part you need.

Q:97 town car, I had got a wire harness for cd deck and the speaker connector is different.WHY? what do i need to do.and what is up with the stock amp? do i have to remove it? please any info would helpthanks.: usually i would cut the ends, splice it then put the wire that came with the new speakers it using butt connectors, most likely you won't put the old set back in so you should go ahead and hard wire it.

What was in the car before? If there was a stereo in the car before, there should be some original wiring. If not, you need the following to get it to work: 1.12v constant live - usually from the cigarette lighter. 2.12v intermittent live - can be bridged from the constant, but the car will not turn off the stereo if you do it this way. some form of interior light / switch can be used. 3. Ground. Find a screw / metal plate and use an 'o' ring to secure it. 4. Speaker wires. You can get car specific harnesses at many places, which car do you have?

Q:i have the complete wiring harness for my craftsman lawn mower. i have the ignition switch and all kids of wires that im pretty sure i dont need i just need/want it to start it and kill it.i need to know what wiring i need to use just for the ignition switch and if i am going to have to bypass other wiresit is an upright motor the flywheel is already on it i just need to know how to get power to the starter and to be able to use my key switch i plan on putting it on my go cart so i dont need half the wires on the wire harness.: You're probably better off just running your own wires, if you want to use the existing wires then usually the keyswitch has one or two 'accessories' lines for lights, etcjust leave them unhooked. I can't help with the actual diagram, if you know the wire colors for the wires going to the starter that will help. Do you also have a starter relay? If it existed then it should be still wiredit may have a terminal that needs to be touching ground to work. Other than thatit's up to what you have documented (notes?) as to where everything was originally wired. Good Luck.

This will have the wiring harness diagram that you need. There is even a cannon plug connector diagram that can tell you which wires go where. It's about thirty bucks a year per car, but is worth it for all the information that it contains.

What is the best way to connect them? Should I use butt connectors? Should I use Crimp connectors? Should I use old fashioned Electrical tape?
