Q: cant find the wiring harness. i need to hookup subs: dude there are no acces points in a wiring harness for your subs ok any access point in a electrical harness wont be for your subs you need to go from the battery or go under the dash the accesspoints you refer too are usually controlled by other things like relays etc and you would not have enough juice cause the wire will be too small from that access point (wire gauge too small) and i am guessing you mean the amp to drive the subs you need to take it from the battery using the correct gauge wire the signal or remote or blue wire is from the ignition but power for it should come directly from battery

Q: I have a 1986 toyota pickup with wing windows and a pocket below the stereo, and I'm trying to install a new Pioneer radio for it. All the cords in the toyota pickup are different chords than what they are for the new wire harness i'm trying to install. I'm trying to figure out which cord is the one that will turn it on and the cord that connected to the ignition. Is there anyone that can direct me to new control panel and wiring harness for this allison bass boat . thanks: I wold assume you have a bad azz mercury on that rig, mercury has a detailed wiring diagram on their website or look for marine wiring colors, ie, orange, is accessories, fuel gauge is pink, ignition is purple, lights are blue, nav lights are gray,bilge pumps are brown, and so on, some negative leads are black, white or yellow, that can be confusing, but overall all marine 12 volts systems are the same, meaning colors, unless you get an Itilain boat like an Azimuth, all the wiring is the same color, but they do not seem to care or abide to world wide standards. best wiried boats or yahchts are Chinese or Taiwanese, clean and marked prperly, think Cabo took example of that.

I need to know what color red connects to, What color does black connect to, what color does yellow connects to and thats it. Some one please help me!: red is 12volt constant black is ground yellow is 12 volt trigger are you asking what wires coming from the receiver connect to in the factory wiring harness or vice verse? Go buy a voltmeter. they are $6 at walmart. Test the loose factory wires by setting the voltmeter to 12v dc. touch one of the probes to the frame, or any metal on the car, then with the car off, touch the probe to the loose oem wires. if the voltmeter shows a current with the car off, that is the 12v constant. there ya go, you can just run the black wire from the back of the receiver to any metal ground. the last wire would be your trigger.
