- Um. Welll pull the HU out. Find a Clip or push down piece of plastic on the harness. SHould come off with a little bit pulling.

- black is generally a ground wire, depending on your vehicles configuration

- Q: I blew up a 2002 S10 2.2 liter engine, and i have found a 99 S10 2.2 liter engine for sale. I know i will need a computer for the 99 to work in the 2002, but will i need to get a wiring harness as well?
- It depends? If you can use the intake and exhaust from your old engine, you might not have to change the computer and wiring because the sensors will be in the same position. If not, then it would be wise to get as much of the wiring harness from the donor engine.
- Q: Hi, I picked up a 1988 Honda XR or (LX) 600. It has everything except the wire harness. Is there a way I can wire everything together myself just to see if the engine will run? Have coil, cdi, etc. I guess the better question would be, does anyone know where I can find schematics on where the wires go? Bike bandit doesn't seam to have an image of where the wires connect together. Thanks!

- Q: i bought it yesterday today a bunch of fuses blew. i went to the ford dealership after my friend check the mechanical and said it was very strong well i went to the ford dealership (i bought it from a used car dealer not ford dealership) they gave me some frightening news they had worked on it for the dealership i bought it from. (and they knew it had wiring problems) that is a good thing for me (tennessee state law states when a sale is made and a dealer with holds information about issues about the car the dealer is responsible whether its an as is sale or not) so i'm relieved to know they have to fix it but i was hoping to know what all needs fixed and how much because i will repair it and sue because i cant be with out my car for the lenght of legal issues.
- Saying wiring harness is very general. What part of the harness! Replacing the entire harness would cost a couple thousand at least and most likely not necessary. What problem is it having??
- Q: I recently changed out the spark plugs on my 2006 dodge charger 6 cyl 3.5L. Had to take apart the box with the air filter and disconnect a whole lot of wiring harnesses to get to the plugs. When I put the engine cover back on and started reattaching all the wires and hoses, the red and black tab on my throttle body wiring harness snapped off. The harness is attached to the throttle body but now there is no way to remove it. My check engine light and ETC light came on while driving with code P0507 which is either dirty throttle body or vacuum leak on engine. I do not have the money to take the car to a dealership to fix it and cannot find the harness online (nor would I be able to install it). Any solution would be greatly appreciated.
- you can take the vehicle to a competent mechanic instead of overpaying at a dealership but get it done before you damage something in the engine because without the data from the sensors its not running right. get it done asap but get it done.

- Q: I just bought a 98 mustang 4.8L Convertible and the driver side head light did'nt work. No big deal right?Just go down and get a new light bulb well i got the bulb took apart the head light housing and the light for it did'nt fit. so i looked at a bit more and it looks like the bulb there isn't broke and the wiring on the head light is kinda screwy it has a main harness that hooks to another harness and the low and high beams are routed together well i took the main harness off the routed one and the new bulb works just fine in the main harness but wont fit in the headlight housing and doing that any way completely disconnects the high beams with the way it's set up so my question is i need a new routing harnes for the high and low beams but cant find one so if some one can give me a web site for the part i need if any one knows what i'm talking about i would really appreciate it
- Maybe a junk yard, or rebuilding the harness yourself is possible but it would be a dealer item or you can check with your local body shop for the harness as they may be able to get one from a supplier thats cheaper than the dealership prices but overall it should cost around 40 bucks for a pigtail harness.

The Pioneer is left with 2 purple, 1 green, 1 green/blue stripe, and the ground wire. My wire harness is left with 1 blue,
- its not that simple you have to find out all wire functions before making any connections . you will need to get an wire diagram for a harness like this to convert to the pioneer harness
