1. Introduction

D, DG type pump is horizontal single-suction multistage centrifugal pump. These series pump have features of high efficiency, wide performance scope, operating safely and smoothly, lower noise and long working life and convenient to maintain etc. The product carry out the standard of GB/T5657.

2.Application

It is used to transport other liquid whose physical and chemical characteristic are similar to water. Also can tansport hot water, oil, corrosive or contain grain medium through change the marterial of pump passing parts, seal types and adding cooling system.

3. Operating conditions

Capacity range: 3.7~500 m³^_/h

Head range: 49~680 m

Medium temperature: D< +105°c DG: -20°c~+150°c

Notice: Use an explosion-proof motor when used in coal well.

Q: How to determine the pump installation elevation, why should we determine the pump installation elevation?: Determination of pump installation elevation: the geometric height between the suction well level and the center line of the pump impeller, plus the hydraulic loss of the suction pipe, is the actual installation height of the pump. (notice: if the suction level is higher than the center of the impeller, it should be negative)To determine the water pump installation elevation reasons: general water pump nameplate on the "NPSH" value, the above calculation of the value must be less than this NPSH value, so as to ensure that water pump is not prone to cavitation.[NPSH] - allowable cavitation margin is to determine the conditions of use of the pump cavitation margin.

Q: What causes a water pump on a car to go bad????? and are they a pain to change by yourself?????: The propeller shaft seal goes bad and leaks coolant. There's a weep hole underneath the pump shaft where you can see the whitish tell tale signs of leaking from the shaft seal weep hole. Most pumps are not a do it yourself job because the timing belt might need to be replaced as well and you need special tools and procedures.

Q: If a person took a water pump and attached to a hose and ended up with (random numbers) 15 gpm and 30 psi at the end of the hose, what would happen if you put an exact same pump right next to it and hooked the two pumps together with a quot;Yfitting to a single hose? Would both the gpm and psi be doubled, or neither, or just one? What would happen?: Only the GPM would be doubled if the pumps are connected in parallel as described. The Pressure would remain at 30 psi. If you were to connect them in series you could double the pressure to 60 psi, but the GPM would remain the same.

Q: i dont think that the water pump is out. i have a 88 evinrude outboard and the other day i noticed that the water was barley trickling out the hose. then it just stopped coming out the hose. it still comes out of the exhaust just fine. the motor is not get hot. is it ok if it still comes out the exhaust/ i will attemp to run a wire up in the hose to see if it is clogged later today. what do yous think: i use air pressure, but a piece of wire usually works.you may try to back flush it with a water hose.

Q: 2004 chevy impala 3.4 v6 The small leak is right behind the pulley of the water pump. Car is not overheating .the leak is only for a little while then it stops . water pump seems to be working fine but the leak ,what could it be ?: water pump seal is bad. it will get worse. just replace the water pump now and save yourself future problems. like losing all your water and over heating your engine. you need a new water pump.

Q: Hi, my water pump isn't working in my rover 400i V reg 99 model......does anyone know where under my bonet this is located and whether it's easy done at home?: water pumps are never an easy fix. most the time you have to take the fan off, and the radiator as well so a person has room to work. MOST water pumps are in front of the motor, towards the bottom. If you follow your radiator hoses you will find it.

Q: How important is a torque wrench,if so what is the proper fp torque for pump/pulley ?: It shouldn't be that critical for water pump bolts. It is extremely important for something like engine head bolts because of the extreme pressures inside the cylinders. Just refrain from over-tightening. I've replaced a number of water pumps and have never used a torque wrench.

Q: we changed the water pump it went bad and there is still a knock in it please help it is running really sluggish: I'm assuming you replaced the water pump due to an overheating problem (most water pumps fail due to leakage, so I'm assuming you drove the car with low coolant). If this is the case and you have an engine knock, you're in trouble. A knock signifies damage to the crankshaft/piston/connecting rod and the associated bearings. If it sounds like someone is hitting the engine with a hammer, you'll need to bring it in right away, before you do more damage. It's not going to be cheap (when is it with a BMW) and you may be better off selling the car and starting with a new car. Good luck. Greg
