Q: Assuming that my water pump standard flow is 20m3/h, tolerance value requirements is + 8%, then is not traffic 22m3/h is not qualified?
Only half a year after graduation. Professional stuff is forgotten...I can't help you...
Q: My water stopped working and my tank emptied. I replaced the pressure switch and the gauge. It still didn't work. The well is about 110'. I pulled the pump and replaced it (1/2 HP, 10 gpm, 2-wire). It still doesn't work. The old pump was 15 years old. The one before only lasted 7 years. The water has a lot of sediment. I have never done this before, but it seemed straightforward enough. The wires on the pump were not differentiated in any way (same color). Could I have put the wires together incorrectly? Could I have put the switch in wrong? It doesn't click on when the breaker is turned on. What else could be wrong? Could the breaker be bad? It wasn't kicked out.
Sounds like the vertical check valve between the end of the pump line and the pressure tank is bad and allowing the water to go back down the pipe when the pump isn't running. Papaw
Q: I have a 2000 Ford Focus with 82k miles on it. The car is leaking coolant intermittently. The radiator was replaced about 3 yrs ago. The car doesn't overheat but when I turn it off I can hear a boiling sound and it smells like something is burning. It's not a strong smell but it's there. The car also idles rough and downright shakes at times. Also, and I know this sounds crazy, when I'm driving it I hear a sort of whooshing noise that sounds like water. Could this be the water pump or something more serious? I'm taking it to the mechanic tomorrow but would like an idea as to what could be wrong.

Q: I had to have my water pump replaced on my '95 Saturn because the car was leaking coolantFirst, why does the coolant leak with a bad water pump? Second, I paid $250 part and labor. Did I get screwed or is that pretty fair?
$250 on a 2003 Saturn l200 is nothing. totally different fom a 95 Saturn.
Q: I need instructions on taking the old one out and replacing it with a new one. Photos will be helpful
The post above me is right on just take your time and make the bolts tight but don't over do it . Flush out before install of new pump. good luck
Q: Every year my family spends a week on a house boat at Lake Powell where it can get extremely hot in the day time. I'd like to build a mist system using pvc pipes and mist spray heads to help cool us down.I'm not sure what kind of water pump to buy? I've looked at different kinds from submersible to non-submersible, all with different amounts of PSI and GPM. I am not familiar with water pumps and could use some community insight.I want to make sure the pump I get does not burn out because of the back pressure it will get due to the mist heads only allowing a little water to escape at a time.I imagine my mist system would have 8 - 12 heads, reaching no more then 30 feet from water source to the end.Any pointers? Thanks!
I am assuming your water source will be the lake …. I would be looking at a submersible pump possibly a pond pump but you need to know what the “lift” is going to be …from the point where you string the mister to the pump {possibly a 15 foot lift} and a pump that will give you at least 25psi. Because you are going to have back pressure, the submersible will reduce the risk of burn out. Also you need to build a simple enclosed container this pump can sit in, with at least a 4”water inlet hole covered with mosquito netting, nylon hosiery, or something to filter the water….otherwise you will constantly be removing the mister heads to clean
Q: I have a 2002 honda civic with 85k miles the dealer says the timing belt should be replaced. But with the water pump timing belt tensioner also have to be replaced???
It relies upon on the vehicle, in diverse fashions, like maximum mitsubishis, you could desire to take the timing belt off to alter the water pump. So then that is an included operation and there is not any extra suitable value linked with the exertions to do the timing belt, it merely makes it a handy, value saving time to do it. there is not any rule approximately changing water pumps and timing belts at the same time. If that is not an included operation there is not any element to do them on a similar time. The timing belt is physically powerful preventative upkeep yet there is not any might desire to alter the water pump previously that is showing signs and indicators, and there are a brilliant style of them, that that is going to die.
Q: For what reasons can water pump in car break? Thanks
The 2.7 and it's water pump are simply a problem waiting to happen. Poor design.
Q: first off i should say it is below freezing here....with that said, the water pump pulley is not turnning so.. the fan belt busted which leads me to believe the water pump is frozen...... right?i am currently traveling and have little money to spend on a new water pumpis there any way that anyone may know to dethaw a frozen water pump without damaging it?... i should say, the motor is running great, no cracks or leaks from the cold.
when a pump is froze like you say the bearings are shot and you must replace the pump
Q: Why should the water pump be opened in time after the pump is started?
Just like peeing, just getting ready to pee, it feels like holding a chicken.
