The nylon overcoated wires demonstrate the same properties as the above wires without polyamide coating. What's more, because of the nylon coating, these wires' mechanic properties are improved greatly. Used in such cases where fast winding is needed.

Q:I am wanting to buy a harness for my vehicle to install a system in it. When I am researching the harness options, they all say not for premium systems. My vehicle has a stock amp in it, is that what it is talking about?
Possibly--it depends on the vehicle. For example, most Chrysler Infinity systems will work fine with a standard wire harness, even though it says not for premium systems. Many GM vehicles have factory amps, but they're designed for use with a standard head unit, so they'll work fine with an after-market head unit using a standard harness. On the other hand, most Bose and JBL systems use a low-level output from the head unit to the stock amp(s), so a standard harness wouldn't work as well unless you used it with a premium sound adapter module. I'm pretty sure the standard harness will work for you Santa Fe's Monsoon system. You'll have to make sure to connect the wire in the harness that activates the factory amplifier.
Q:Do you need a motor wiring harness.?I want to switch a 98 v-tech motor into a 95 honda civic, do I need a wiring harness or ecu for my 95 honda?
Yes you will need the harness and computer and some other parts that hook to the 98VTech motor. Make sure to get all of the items from the donor car and if possible keep the donor car handy until yours is running correctly, just in case you find you need another part from that car.
Q:Here is my situation: I have a a Pioneer DEH-1600 already installed in my 99 accord which my dad paid to have it installed at pepboys. I recently just purchased a Pioneer DEH-1300mp to replace my old one because I wanted an aux input. The problem is that I know little to nothing about wiring. I can take things apart and install things but I have never tried wiring. The stereo I purchased came with a wire harness as well and I was wondering if I have to completely rewire the harness or if I could just unhook the old stereo and plug the new one in. Especially since the two pioneer stereos are the same model line, I would think that they would use the same wire harness. But unfortunately I do not know. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Q:I have a 1987 toyota pickup and When I tried following the color-code diagrahm I found online I crossed two wires and had a major melt down. I took a few hours and seperated all the witres that were melted together, and now I don't have a cig lighter or center clock. I'm pretty sure I won't be able to hook my CD player up to the ignition system, unless someone knows something I don' (pretty likely in this field). If I can't do it that way, is there a way to wire it straight to something else that is always on when the truck is running and off when it is off, or should I run it straight from the battery? Also, what would be the proper way of doing that? Thanks for looking and hopefully you can give me advice, or direct me to someone who can.

Q:i changed the motor in my saturn and cant remember which wire goes where also shor cuts for reconnecting everything
This may sound like a daunting problem but don't be afraid it is not that bad.Wiring looms are very well engineered and they make an effort to make them idiot proof. Just lay out the wire bundles as close to where they belong as you can remember the connectors will be somewhere near the components they belong to. The ends of the connectors are all different you usually cannot plug them into the incorrect part just keep plugging them in until you run out of connectors. There may be one or two you cant figure out but their function will usually become obvious when you try to start car and something doesn't work or a light comes on. Good luck.
Q:i bought it yesterday today a bunch of fuses blew. i went to the ford dealership after my friend check the mechanical and said it was very strong well i went to the ford dealership (i bought it from a used car dealer not ford dealership) they gave me some frightening news they had worked on it for the dealership i bought it from. (and they knew it had wiring problems) that is a good thing for me (tennessee state law states when a sale is made and a dealer with holds information about issues about the car the dealer is responsible whether its an as is sale or not) so i'm relieved to know they have to fix it but i was hoping to know what all needs fixed and how much because i will repair it and sue because i cant be with out my car for the lenght of legal issues.
Saying wiring harness is very general. What part of the harness! Replacing the entire harness would cost a couple thousand at least and most likely not necessary. What problem is it having??
Q:I have 86 chevy half ton pickup needing a harness. will a harness from an 84 half ton work for me as I have one availible to me
Only if it has the same engine/trans combo. I don't remember any major changes happening between 84 and 86, but taking that into account, thoroughly label everything you're removing, and bring the digital camera along to snap pics of the harness with the labels on them as you remove each connector. Better safe than confused as all heck!
Q:i have a 2000 4runner with the factory stereo and i want to put a Boss 822UA head unit in. Is the current wiring harness compatible with the boss stereo? Also, i want to wire an amp to my new stereo. do i need a new wiring harness?
You will need a receiver harness and a amp installation kit. What type of amp kit depends on how many channels and how much power you plan to install.
Q:I DON'T WANT TO GO TO THE DEALERSHIP WHERE CAN I GET THE WIRING HARNESS FOR THE DOOR ITS A2005 NISSAN MURANO
Your car is very new and chances are the above 2 places will not have the harness, there are very few places other then the dealer were you can get the harness. This car is just to new
Q:i bought a new sony xplode cd player for my 1999 ford mustangi got the scosche wiring harness fdo21 and it just doesnt match up to the wiress in the dash even though it says ford and has the the right year on the box
that wiring harness you bought gets wired to the wiring harness from you new head units wiring and plugs into were you unplug ed your factory head unit from.they call it plug and play.do not cut the plugs off your wiring harness under the dash.all wiring done on a bench tape or cap all contacts even the unused ones so you have no shorts.then just plug each plug into its own plug in.there's only one way they will fit and remove the contact covers in the plugs before you plug them in.and follow the wiring diagram that came with it the colors match up if you have the right make and yr and model of the plug in that fits your car.the (color code gets matched to the new stereos wiring)has nothing to do with wiring under dash, this is why you bought the plug in in the first place so you did not have to deal with all the dash wiring,it should plug in just like your factory stereo did.
