The nylon overcoated wires demonstrate the same properties as the above wires without polyamide coating. What's more, because of the nylon coating, these wires' mechanic properties are improved greatly. Used in such cases where fast winding is needed.

Q: i have a 73 merc 650 with no control box and was hoping someone can point me in the right direction for wiring in a key switch i have a mercontrol throttle and shifter box less wiring i just need to know how to wire it together as i don't have 200-300 bucks to spend on the proper control box so if anyone can find me a website to the proper resources i'd be most appreciative and send them pictures of the fish we caught thanks for looking, helping
Find a used outboard shop and see if they have the controlls you need.
Q: how do i fix this problem with my speakers everything else is working fine just no sound coming out my speakers and they where working fine with the factory radio
I'm pretty sure that there is no switched power in that harness. Check the pin on the factory harness with the red one on your radio harness. If there isn't a pin there then you need to find switched power somewhere within the vehicle. Your best bet is probably the ignition or accessory wire in your ignition harness. I don't think I've ever found a switched power fuse with enough amperage capability in a BMW.
Q: I cut the wiring harness out of an old car. After peeling the wrapping insulation off I connected the matching wires with but connectors. I then placed electrical tape around the splices and put heat shrink tubing over the tape. I bought 2 grounded plugs and connected the wires one at a time to make sure they went to the correct screws. (the wires were green, purple, and yellow rather than black, white, and green) The cord works properly and indicates a ground. Is it safe?
actually it depends on what you plug into it, and how much amps whatever you are using draws, how to find out is plug something in and see if the cord you made starts getting hot. luke warm ok, hot, or super hot and smoking is really a bad plan, It all depends on how thick the bundle is and how much power is being pulled through the cord. And like I already said HEAT IS THE BIG PROBLEM, THATS WHAT STARTS FIRES the wires overheat, get hot, liquify the insulation, short, catch fire and its over.
Q: Where is the battery bus positive and negative wiring harness received?
The construction sequence of each professional project is not the same.
Q: i cant figure out what wires to hook up to the wires in my car, the wireing harness from the car has been cut off so i need to kno which wires to hook up and where. its an xploid cd player.
you will need three power wires (constant, ignition, and ground), plus your speaker wires (8, 10 counting the tweeters) use a test light to test your wires, usually at the radio the yellow wire is your constant, the red is your ignition, and black is always ground to find your constant use the test light, it will be hot at all times so that your radio can remember the time, and your settings- next you need your ignition, it is only hot when the key is on or in the accessory position, to tell the radio when to come on- the ground is self explanatory to find which wires go to what speakers all you need is a 9v battery, put the positive end to a wire and test all of the other wires to the negative side and you will hear a crackling noise from a speaker when you have the right combination hope that's what you were looking for, good luck
Q: I just bought a pioneer wiring harness and there is a blue cable and a blue cable with a white stripe. the color code says that the blue wire goes to the power antenna and that the blue/white wire goes to the amp turn on. the thing is that the blue wire hooks in at the same side twice and the blue/white goes from the one plug to the other plug. If I could email you for more questions that would be nice thanks
Is this a harness that has a plug at each end, one to the radio and one to your car? If so it may be that your car does not have an option for a power antenna and therefore the blue wire is not needed or may be looped back to the blue/white wire at the plug. Your car may also be one that has a factory amplifier and therefore the blue/white wire is going to the car side of the plug to turn on the factory amp. If you need to power an aftermarket amp as well you can simply tap into the blu/white wire with the aftermarket amps remote turn on wire. The way they work is thisThe blue wire sends out 12 volts only when the tuner is selected on the radio and does not send out 12 volts while listening to CD. This is to raise a power antenna for the tuner.(since this wire is looped back to itself it may because your model of car didnt have an option to come with a power antenna from the factory and is not needed) The blue/white wire sends out 12 volts during both tuner and CD listening modes. This is to turn on any amplifiers being used on the system.
Q: i have a 97 acura integra rs non vtec (b18b1) and i need to know if my factory wiring harness will fit a b18c or b18c1 (obd 1) which is vtec? i know i will have to run the wires for the vtec and since i have a skunk 2 intake, the secondary runners in the intake of the b18c/c1 will be not needed to be ran. and yes i will have the p72 (gsr) ecu for the vtec pinouts. for the obd1 part i will be getting a skunk 2 conversion harness that goes obd2 to obd1.
I see we have a frankenstein car in the makes here
Q: Hello everyone, im thinking about buying this 08 hayabusa from this older guy for a good price. The bike was laid down and the front left plastics are pretty scraped but no frame damage. He told me the wiring harness got ate up pretty bad too and will need to be replaced. I looked on OKorder to see how much a used one would cost and i saw one around $180, but im kind of unsure because on OKorder things dont always seem as they are. I found a reputable mechanic that is only charging me $30 an hr to put it on when i get one, and he is very well known in my area. Though the question remains, should i buy a wiring harness from OKorder or somewhere else?
buying secondhand is never a good idea, get a new one it will save you money on labour charges.
Q: I need a wiring harness diagram for my 1996 Chevy Suburban. It has an 5.7 Vortec Engine in it. A PDF would be great. Thanks.
the best way to do that is take a piece of paper and pencil, go to a junk yard, find a car like yours and draw a diagram of the wiring !
Q: hi i was wondering how much and engine wiring harness would cost used at junkyard and new and if new where can i get it with out going to dealer?????car is 3.8 non supercharged 1998 grand prix se reason i need wires becouse when engine was put on by a friend he put a bad ground so wirings burnt up and got hot so im tired of looking for messed up wiresi want to know estimate for whole engine wiring
