1. Description of solar pumps.
CNBM Solar Water Pump is the pumping facility driven by solar energy, which consists of a solar pumping inverter and a pump. Solar water pumps kit is called solar pumping system combining with solar arrays designed according to different head and daily water flow for application. System is widely utilized for agriculture irrigation, desert control, pasture animal husbandry, city landscaping, daily water supply, etc.
In recent years, with the development of photovoltaic products from city application to huge demands of agriculture, pasture, desert areas, CNBM Solar Pond Pump has become the leading products combining photovoltaic industry with traditional industry such as agriculture water conservancy, desert control, daily water supply, city landscaping, etc.
CNBM Solar Pump driven by infinite solar energy, works from sunrise, and stops at sunset, need no connection to grid power nor diesel oil and battery. System can irrigate directly or store water instead of electricity in a reservoir. Solartech Solar fountain Pumps works with sprinkling irrigation, drip irrigation and infiltrating irrigation facilities, can be more efficient for water saving and dramatically lower the cost of using fossil energy.

4. FAQ
1> May we ask if the bare pump or the whole pump system would be all right for you to arrange the delivery?
The bare pump and the who systems would be all acceptable at your side. A controller will be equipped with the pump freely. Regarding the whole system, we can also make the best solar panels configuration according to your requirements.
2> Does your controller have the MPPT Function?
Yes, our controllers have. This would be not a problem.
3> Can your pump work automatically?
Yes, it would be the basic advantage of solar water pumps.
- Q: Our water pump was really warm/hot to the touch, our hot water was more warm than hot, and wouldnt heat up enough to get hot, and it wouldn't turn off. (like when it starts up when you turn on the water,it just kept going, and wouldn't stop) so, because it was hot, and going constantly, we didn't want it to explode, or burn out, so we turned it off, and now I'm hoping that when we turn it back on after it cools, that it'll go back to turning on/off intermittently, instead of constantly. So, after it cools down, will it go back to normal, instead of just constantly going??!?
- I assume you have a water well pump. The experience I have had, is it will come back on once the thermal safety switch cools down. However, I think you still have work here to do because each time this happens, you are shortening the life of your pump. First you need to determine why it ran hot to begin with. Could be lots of reasons, but just to name a few. -Is your water tank in good shape, with the correct air pressure? -Is the tank waterlogged, too old or leaking? -Any leaks in the service in or to the house? -Is your contact switch working properly, clean contacts, good wire, good connections, breaker etc.? -Is there water running somewhere your not aware of? -Last but not least, the check valve and foot valve leading to the well could also be defective. Just my opinion, I hope this helps to get you thinking. Good luck; flip;
- Q: vw tells me the pump is defective, bad water circulation. i noticed the fans did not turn on when it began to overheat. is that irrelevant with the pump being defective? i even drop the car cold(i started the engine and drove) within 10mins it began to overheat, but the fans did not turn on. is it just the pump? the fan switch is new, no fuses are blown. the radiator and fans are less than 2 yrs old. 2000 jetta
- if the fan doesnt turn on, check the fan relay and the fan fuse.
- Q: trying to instal pump and I can't get fan blade off It is a1999 chev 5,7 vortex
- you need a tool they rent it at autozone. its two big wrenches that u use together to take it off.
- Q: someone told me my water pump may be going out and it sounds like their is a loose barron inside of it, so how much is it and and if i was to have someone else to fix it how much will it cost me
- This should be a V6 engine correct. if looking at front of engine, toward the belt , the water pump is located behind pulley appox. 5 inches on the side toward radiator. highest pulley on right side of engine. Replacement can be performed easily without many special tools.. First loosens each of the pulley bolts on pump. Then release tension on belt and route away from pulley. Remove remaining pulley bolts and pulley , Water pump has 5 bolts holding it to cover assembly, Mark-index the way pump installs and remove. Clean all gasket material. Install new pump and gasket, refill system and to open air blled on cooler pipe near water pump to allow air to escape.
- Q: When my wife was driving on freeway, the alternator belt broke and battery sign showed up. She also told that the temperature gauze showed high. Luckily she reached home with the battery fully charged. When I checked under hood, there was coolant spill surrounding water pump . I could not figure out where the coolant came from. Overnight parking did not show any further leakage of coolant. is there a need to change the water pump also.
- Depends. On older vehicles they used multiple drive belts for the different components (my '88 Caprice had 3 belts), but most newer vehicles only use 1 belt called a serpentine belt which drives multiple components (my '00 Dodge Ram 1500) If you lose your serpentine belt it will set the battery light as the alternator is not outputting the correct system voltage, and since the same belt drives the water pump then yes the car will overheat. It's dangerous to keep driving like that, most newer cars have aluminum heads which will warp when they get tooooo hot = expensive repair
- Q: I was recently driving and noticed my heat gauge in the red. I have a 1992 Honda Accord 4 door LX. When I opened the hood what appears to be water was all over the place. Is this the water pump or something else? I want to fix it this weekend so I was hoping for a better understanding of what it might be. I am aware of the labor involved with the water pump and removing the timing belts to get to it. Thanks a bunch in advance!
- No it doesn't sound like the water pump, There wouldnt be water everywhere if it was the water pump. It sounds like it could be the thermostat not opening up and causing everything to back up.
- Q: I have a water pump that works with 12V and 2 amps.I was thinking to get a potentiometer to be able to slow down the speed. Is this the best way to do it? What wattage should it have, so it doesn't burn out, and what should be the maximum resistance, to be able to stop the pump completely? And OKorder or product link would be great! Thanks!
- A potentiometer will work, and this could be wired in series with the pump as long as its minimum resistance was zero ohms. You can also use an adjustable voltage regulator which would likely be more energy efficient but a more complex device. A potentiometer or regulator would need to have a minimal rating of 12V * 2A = 24 watts. A potentiometer, that is made for 12 volt applications, should be available at a local auto parts store. It has a simple, ceramic insulated, wire-wound resistor, and should have a 5 to 10 amp rating Sources below are to more sophisticated controllers than a simple potentiometer.
- Q: The difference between submersible pumps and centrifugal pumps
- The two are different ways of distinguishing.Centrifugal pump is in accordance with the impeller type of a pump, that is, centrifugal pump impeller is centrifugal.Submersible pump refers to its working environment is underwater, it is divided by the application environment, it can also be centrifugal pump or axial flow pump or mixed flow pump, the key is to see what kind of impeller is.Submersible pump motor is required to dive, that is, the motor protection level is relatively high, generally more than IP68 in order to dive.
- Q: When the pump is connected in parallel, will the head and flow change?
- Parallel pump should lift the same head, the flow is the sum of the flow of a single pump.
- Q: I was wondering if anyone could help me figure out why? Problems started when our car overheated due to neglecting to refill the coolant a while back. The coolant tank got cracks in it and we had to replace it- but now the water pump is leaking, says my husband- should we just replace the water pump or could this be a bigger problem? Why is it leaking all of a sudden now? (please no snarky rude answers , I'm looking for help not to be scolded! Yes we neglected to add more coolant-- damage is already done so don't bother making a ridiculous comment about it!)Thanks!
- Having to top up the coolant means there was a leak, likely a small one from the water pumps seal. Change the water pump a.s.a.p.
