Q: I'm looking for a pressed powder that lasts up to six hours at least six hours, doesn't dry out skin and has a good shade selection. I have medium dark skin. My budget is ?5 and I live in the UK. And I also have one more question. What is the difference between pressed powder and translucent powder? Please answer and I will reward 10 points for the best one myself. Thanks in advance.
Rimmel Stay Matte! I'm surprised you haven't thought of this living in the U.K. -Pressed powder is when it's in a compact and the product is pressed tight so it's ideal for travel since it doesn't get messy. -Loose powder is loose kinda like baby powder. When you swirl the brush in it, some of the powder goes in the air and looks like dust. -Translucent powder is the color of the powder. When people aren't sure of which shade they are, they just get it in translucent which isn't supposed give coverage hence translucent. They just wanna set or control oil so coverage isn't a priority.
Q: I had to press 5 different types of leaves from my yard for part of my science project. I put newspaper, then the leaves, then a little more newspaper, then my english textbook, a dictionary, and a gallon of water. I let it sit for a week. My results:Australian bottle tree, Australian willow, kumquat bush, and lemon tree leaves worked perfectly.But... the ficus leaf (still got flattened and everything) is BROWN!What happened?I need to know ASAP so I know if I should try the ficus again or do a different type of leaf. I only have time for one more round of pressing before the project is due! Thanks :)
Ficus plants are always a problem when pressing. The main reason is that they have latex in their tissues and many of them have relatively thick leaves. Not only do they turn brown (or even black) but the leaves usually drop off the stems. There are a few ways to make good Ficus specimens but the ones I've heard of require alcohol (enough to dip the plants in) and you'd need to be able to apply dry heat to your press for a few days at least. So, if you don't HAVE to have a Ficus, use something else (weed from your lawn would be easiest).
Q: i am going to get a bench press soon. but until then is doing press ups give the same kind of effect???
Push ups do strengthen your chest. I did them for about 3 months because I wasn't weight lifting and my Bp improved. I'll tell you that Bp might be more effective;however, better something then nothing. And, I really don't think we lift all our body mass when we do push ups.
Q: Every time I press out my hair it looks like feathery sh**. I do everything my mom tells me: use leave-in conditioner, divide the hair into 4 sections, press small amounts of hair at a time, curl the ends, take my time and not rush through, but it always come out looking like sh**. What am I missing? I get so frustrated when my hair does this, I don't have the money to go to a salon every week/month to get my hair done. I use shampoo conditioner, leave-in conditioner, and Pink oil lotion. I went through search engines on the internet for help, but it kept coming up with articles on how to care for your natural black hair, something I definitely don't want. I have relaxed African-American hair and I need help taming it since this sh***y mane of mine won't behave and refuses to like me.
I've made up our minds to do the identical factor and thus far so well. I have approximately four months of recent progress and a shortish however thick head of permed hair that I am no longer equipped to reduce off. I cautiously contact up the roots with an electrical scorching comb and placed hot curlers in my hair as ordinary - no none might inform the change and I consider like i simply received a perm. I use hair dressing and I do not get the brush too scorching- if it presses it instantly at the first swipe, for me it is too scorching. It begins to get kinky in two to four a couple of days once more and while I wash it at the weekend, it fully reverts which I am comfortable to peer. But I have most effective been doing it for 2 weeks so the longer term results are unknown, however I can say that after I wash it, I do not get plenty of hair loss.
Q: My regular bench pressing workout is 5 sets of ten or eight with 135 to 145 lbs. if keeping working out everyday with the same routine, approximately, what should my max bench pressing weight be by may?
This is a question that only you can answer. Only you know your capabilities, and if anybody demands more than you are capable of, you need to tell them to go fly a kite. Clint Eastwood put it succinclty: A good man always knows his limitations. This doesn't mean that you should sell yourself short either. You should constantly strive to overcome your own limitiations, but there is a limit to everything, including how much your maximum bench press should be. Just try to improve your maximum bench press weight gradually, adding a few pounds from time to time. You don't mention what position you are playing for the football team, but that is important. If you are an interior lineman, you should be stronger than a wide receiver or a defensive back. The latter positions stress running speed and agility more than strength. Set realistic goals for yourself and try to reach them. Your next goal should be 150 pounds with the same number of repetitions. Keep adjusting your weight lifting goals upward, but keep in mind that you need to stretch those muscles too, or you will be prone to muscle strains, the most common sports injuries. I have included a link below to a yoga site which will help with this. Don't forget that rest and recuperation are very important too. Work your upper body on alternating days, and the lower body in between. I wish you a great football season, both individually and collectively.
Q: I see people (even some muscular people) in the gym bench pressing just the bar with no weights on the sides. Isn't that just 10 pounds? What is that good for and why do it?
If its a typical size olympic bar just get rid of one plate at a time switching sides. If it's a brief bar, (like extra low finish home gyms have) then that you could buy clasps for the bench. They look like the letter L and fasten in order that they lock the bar in situation so that whilst you cast off a tremendous ample weight from one aspect the unbalanced bar that would ordinarily right away tip off the bench might be secure at the same time you get rid of the plate from the opposite part.
Q: I just recently heard of the leaf pressing hobby and it sounds fun and interesting but I do not know much, so I may sound very new and stupid but I'd love it if you helped!1. How long should I press the leaves for?2. How long would they last?3. Should I hang them up or find a nice sized journal with blank pages to put them in?4. IF I hung them up, what sort of paper would I use and how?5. IF I used a nice journal, how would I attach the leaves? I think I saw someone who threaded them on, would that be an okay way to do so?I think that that's about all I have to ask, but if you have any tips and tricks let me know!Thank you!
in schools art class.we would take 2 pieces of wax paper and put the leaves inside then iron them and they last forever :)
Q: Does anyone know where I can buy a tortilla-press/iron in Little Rock, AR or Conway, AR area?
You okorder /
Q: I did not perm my hair for 3-4 months. The first time I permed my hair it was not 'fully' permed because when i washed it , it would become curly again. The hair dresser told me that since it was my first perm. When I did a touch up for the roots the person fully permed ONLY the roots. Can I still get my hair pressed so I can spike it ? What should I do to make it straight again. I'm not perming my hair again.I'm black btw.
Yes okorder /
Q: I cant find a straight answer to this, apparently everybody has a different opinion so I'll try asking on here. Incline dumbbell press, is it necessary to bring the weights together at the top of the press or can you just go straight up and down with the weights as if you were using a barbell
In any lift, you want the to target the muscle your lifting for. On the incline press bringing them together is going to help you get that intense squeeze. During your lift, mentally concentrate on the area from the front of the shoulder, through the upper chest, and at the top of the lift, bring the weights together, in a controlled motion, pause at the top, and really squeeze the pecks. This intense squeeze is going to help flood blood into the muscles and bust the muscle fiber. If your not tearing the fibers, your not building muscle.
