- Q: What's harder a chest press or bench press?I don't know why but I can bench way more than I can lift on a chest press machine. the chest press sitting up pushing forward on a machine drops me like 40 lbs. Is that mental or is a chest press from a sitting position more difficult than a bench press, thanks
- The chest press machine at my gym involves the user pushing away from his/her chest BUT, also pushing upwards slightly. This is most likely the case with yours as well. This is then considered to be an incline press. Since incline presses isolates your upper chest to do the work, you will always lift more with the bench press because there's a smaller fraction of your chest being used to push weight with the incline press. Note: the more of an incline you put to this press (Adjust the incline by doing the press on an adjustable bench) the more a shoulder workout it becomes. You will eventually reach a completely vertical press and this is ALL shoulder (military press).
- Q: I always buy cold pressed paper, and have to stretch it, but every time i do, it still turns out wrinkled. I wet it then tape it to my board and let it dry but Im not sure what i am doing wrong

- Q: When you press eyeshadow pigments, you use alcohol. Is there a way to do it without alcohol?
- The site page id no longer active.
- Q: Squats make me puke, I can leg press 320lbs 175 weight for 10 reps but i struggle squating my own body weight, How do i improve my squats. (Been working out for 2 months now.
- leg press is a punny exercise, you improve your squats by squatting.
- Q: Learning about press release writing and submission. Hoping some of you gurus out there can help with a tip or secret. Thanks!
- As a retired newspaper publisher, I have seen thousands of press releases over thirty-five years in the business. The ones that don't get pitched are the ones that really glitz it up with great graphics, and provide useful information. Indiana Beach in Monticello, Indiana used to send outstanding press releases complete with hard-hats, 'boggle' toys and even replicas of old Coca-Cola bottles, along with a comprehensive press package and a complimentary admission on a special day exclusively for members of the press. Now, they've apparently hired a new pr firm that's doing things on the cheap and their press releases hardly get noticed.-RKO-
- Q: when i press my leg the mark of my finger stays and does not go away. What can this be? I am anemic and I want to know if the two are related. Thanks
- This could be a sign that your body is retaining to much water....Edema is swelling caused by excess fluid trapped in your body's tissues. Although edema can affect any part of your body, it's most commonly noticed in your hands, arms, feet, ankles and legs. Symptoms Click to enlarge Swelling of the foot, ankle and leg can be severe enough to leave an indentation, or pit, when you press on the area. This swelling (edema) is the result of excessive fluid in your tissues — often caused by congestive heart failure or blockage in a leg vein. Edema in ankleSigns and symptoms of edema include: Swelling or puffiness of the tissue under your skin (subcutaneous tissue) Stretched or shiny skin Skin that retains a dimple after being pressed for several seconds Increased abdominal size When to see a doctor Make an appointment to see your doctor if you have any of the signs or symptoms of edema, such as swelling, stretched or shiny skin, or skin that retains a dimple after being pressed. Seek immediate medical attention if you experience any signs or symptoms of edema in your lungs (pulmonary edema), including: Shortness of breath Difficulty breathing Chest pain

- Q: So, I'm thinking of buying one to use at work. There seem to be so many out there that I was wondering:1. What kind to get?2. Is there any difference in quality between a $10 one and a $20 one?3. Pros of using a press?4. Cons? ~~THANKS!~~
- Get the glass one-the plastic ones will make your coffee taste like plastic. Glass doesn't contain cancer causing chemicals like plastic does. No, there's no difference in quality between a $10 press and a $20 press. The pros of using a press is that the natural oil in the coffee is not strained through a paper filter, so you get more flavor in your coffee, if all goes well and French presses are great for camping, since you don't need electricity-you just need a gas stove, a kettle, and boiling water. The cons of using a press is that you have to use a coarser grind as a finer grind will cause the screen to get clogged and you'd get grounds in your coffee and since you have to grind the coffee coarser, you need to add more beans as adding what you normally would will cause your coffee to be watery; the oils naturally found in the beans, which are not filtered out, can cause your cholesterol to go up if you drink too much French press coffee. Here's how to use one: 1) Put the kettle on 2) take the plunger out of the press 3) grind the coffee beans 4) pour the boiling water into the press. Wait until the last minute before grinding the beans, or they'll go stale. When the water boils, put the grounds into the press and then pour the water into the press. Let the coffee steep for about 4 minutes, shorter or longer, depending on your taste. Don't press down the plunger until the coffee is done steeping. After your coffee is done brewing, then press down the plunger. Enjoy your French press!
- Q: In a batch file, I know what this will do.set/p cho=gt;if %cho%==w goto UPif %cho%==a goto LEFTif %cho%==d goto RIGHTYou press the key, hit enter, and it goes to the corresponding section in the batch file. But how do I make it, so when the user of the file presses one key, it goes to that section instantly without having to press enter?
- Something like this ECHO OFF SET Choice= SET /P Choice=Press enter to open abc.exe (and something else to quit) IF %Choice%== GOTO Start GOTO End :Start echo abc.exe about to start abc.exe :End EDIT: If you want just any key without pressing enter then this is impossible with the DOS scripting language but you could write a little exe utility who will do that for you. Here is how it looks: C:Usersholtest Press enter to open abc.exe (and something else to quit) If you press enter then we get: C:Usersholtest2 Press enter to open abc.exe (and something else to quit) abc.exe about to start 'abc.exe' is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file. C:Usershol I have not abc.exe so there is an error message. The other way around C:Usersholtest2 Press enter to open abc.exe (and something else to quit)x gives C:Usersholtest2 Press enter to open abc.exe (and something else to quit)x C:Usershol Basically set /p ask the user to specify the value of Choice when it is just enter then it is an empty string and we can start otherwise we end. Change it around for your liking.
- Q: What's the difference, if any, between cold-pressed and first cold-pressed. Is there a difference??
- Those terms mean nothing in most of today's mass-produced olive oils. They may have more meaning if you can find olive oil extracted in more traditional manners, but those usually come from artisan producers and in very small batches. Virgin and cold-pressed are interchangeable terms. They both mean that only mechanical methods were used to extract the oil (as opposed to heat or chemical methods, both of which alter the natural properties of the oil). First pressing refers to when the old method of using a mechanical screw press was common. Olives went through the press at relatively low pressures the first time through, meaning the most pure product came out (thus first pressing). Then the resulting pulp was sent through a higher pressure press to extract more oil. The higher pressure results in heat, which degrades the flavor of the oil. Often, the pulp was heated before the second pressing to be able to extract more oil. Centrifuges are now used to extract oil by most commercial producers. Since the oil is extracted by centrifugal force until nothing else comes out, there is no second pressing. It's my understanding that since the olives are not subjected to as much pressure using this method, they are not subjected to as much heat either, preserving the original qualities and flavor of the oil. Back to my original statement: first cold pressed and cold pressed are mostly marketing terms carrying over from the early days of olive oil extraction methods. By today's standards, most any non-refined olive oil qualifies as first cold pressed. There are certainly quality differences between oils, but if you're comparing labels of extra virgin olive oils, these extra words on the label are no longer a good indicator of these differences.
