The web actually has no sets of plans you can download for free. Even portions of plans I have seen have no measurements to allow someone to fabricate one. My intention was to try to find a working set of plans, that had no patent and draw them properly (I have years of CAD drafting experiance) and get them online so that people could build the presses with basic workshop tools.

- There are only a few brands of French Presses out there. I have 2 different sizes of Bodum stainless steel (thermal) presses. They retain the heat better, they will not break like glass ones, and they look really nice too. Go for it.
