- Q: I want a camera with no lag time so that I can capture my children. My fine motor skills are really clumsy and I don't want to be faffing about trying to half press. I just want to point and press...and press and press away!
- Any DSLR with a continuous AF, which most should have, you probably want one with more AF points for more chance of getting the shot, something like a Canon XSi or T2i would be a good enough starting point, but use in P mode with AiFocus selected. Will probably work best if you pre-select your desired focus point and track this over your subject. If you want the AF to do more for you then you need something like the 7D which has more points in selectable zones, and each of the more points are more sensitive than on the budget bodies. I would also advocate a fast prime lens such as the 50mm f1.8 or a fast aperture constant zoom like the Sigma 17-50 f2.8, to give the AF system as much light to work with as possible.
- Q: Is there a major difference between the two? Is one more effective than the others? Would it be a bad idea to add 3 sets of dead lifts to my work out if I'm already doing 5 sets of leg press?
- leg press is baby crap squats and dead lifts are much more effective in building lower body strength than the leg press is
- Q: is cold pressed oil oil better for you and why? is it healthier?
- cold pressed = extra virgin the olives are seeded/pitted, then pressed w/o any heat. This is cold pressed ror EV. Once that round has been done, they gather up the squished olives, add heat, and press again. More oil is released due to heat and higher pressure. This is simply olive oil.
- Q: I currently attend the gym but cannot always get there. I have just started doing press ups each day that I miss, and I was wondering if press ups every morning was a more productive way of working out than going to the gym 3 days a week. Thanks for the help!
- I'm not familiar with press-ups are they pushups, or a form of them? Anyway, whatever they are...they are more than likely only targeting one muscle group. To be productive you shouldn't ignore the rest of your body. Think total body workouts. Also don't forget about cardio. Muscular training provides cardio to some degree...but not enough as actually doing cardio would. Cardio is the key to losing weight...and if that's not your goal, it keeps your heart and lungs healthy. Push-ups are an excellent upper body exercises that engages the chest, biceps, traps, and shoulders. But like I said, don't ignore the rest of the body. Do core exercises (planks, vertical leg crunches, russian twists, etc) and lower body exercises like squats and lunges and variations of them. Don't worry about getting to the gym all the time. All the exercises mentioned require just your own bodyweight (and maybe a dumbbell for the Russian Twist). Also unlike the machines in the gym, they are targeting more than one muscle at a time. Example (A russian twist engages the abs, and the obliques, not to mention the arms, and allow spinal mobility) or you can do three different machines to do the same thing. When you do go to the gym, try incorporating more use of freeweights/stabilty balls/resistances bands/medicine balls instead of just machines. Also doing muscle exercises EVERYDAY is not productive. Allow your muscles at least 24-48 hours to recover. Failure to do so could result in overtraining and injury. Best of luck!
- Q: rawkus records wants a press kit from me..this would be??
- It depends on what you're contacting them for. Normally a press kit has something to do with having press credentials for media, photographers, etc.
- Q: i think press wood is a rip off for the people that by's press wood furniture anyone agreas with me.
- Press wood as you call it might better known as particle board. It was invneted in the 50's due to a shortage of timber. in reality is well suited for aplications such as cabinets and vanities as well as furniture that is not moved much like a china hutch. It is actually a viable product and proably appears more often that you realize. not to mention it is cheap and easily made from the scraps of timber that would other wise be thrown away.
- Q: So I am a biginner at makeup and I was wondering how do you use pressed powder? Like how do you know when you've put enough on and how do you put it on? This is probably a dumb question so sorry if it is. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks
- Get a big, oversized blush brush. This way it makes it really hard to put on to much. The brush should be the size of a coke can or a bit smaller. Brush lightly over face. If you cant tell where you have it on or if you need more then its a waste of money and you don't need it yet.
- Q: I've been wanting a bench press for a while now and 2 days ago my dad bought me one. When my mom saw it, she was being a ***** about it and told my dad to return it. I got really pissed after that because he promised me he'll get me one. I guess it's because it's big. So now I'm stuck with the barbell and 2 25 pound weights. (I'll buy more weights soon) So really can I still do bench press without the bench or do I really need a bench to do it with? What difference does it make if I bench press with or without the bench?
- Something like a bow flex would be more ideal for you. I believe they make models that are fairly compact. Doing bench presses without the bench is a bad idea for the same reason you aren't suppose to lift your max unless someone is helping you. There is nowhere to put the weights when you are done with a set. If you don't have a bench don't use the long bar when laying down. Use only single hand weights.
- Q: Stop you from growing? Like your height. Because i've been bench pressing since i was 14 and im 17 now and i've been the same height ever since. Could this be why im not growing anymore? I stopped doing squats this year i did them since my freshman year in highschool (i was in football). Maybe that could be why too?
- nope just makes you bigger in the chest.
- Q: Is a chest press equal to a Bench press
- i think so but i like benching more. it feels like it better to me
