- Q: I'm currently using the Prescriptives Flawless SkinTotal Protection and when I apply it in the morning it looks great on my skin once it dries, but 3 hours later my face looks very oily. I have never used powder over my foundation before. I wanted to make my skin look natural when wearing foundation, so thats why I was afraid to use the powder plus foundation. Should I use the Prescriptives pressed powder or the loose powder to help control the shiny look?
- loose is good to apply directly after foundation to help mattify...it provides light coverage when applied with a brush. pressed is great to carry with you for easy touch ups.

- Q: I use almay clear complexion foundation, and I am looking for a powder to go over that...i have fair skin so i use all the light colors. I also like the natural look, where it doesnt look like youre wearing.......makeup.. SO.....I purchased almay nearly naked LOOSE powder and liked it, but was scared it was going to make me break out since it wasnt on the clear complexion line, although it is still non clog poring. - I much prefer loose powder. It has a more natural look. I have sensitive skin too. So I only wear makeup about 3 out of 7 days of the week. I would say that most likely the pressed powder won't break your skin out IF you don't put too much on AND you moisturize first. I would recommend Aveeno. It has an SPF and doesn't break my skin out bc it's hypoallergenic. I have found loose powder to not clog my pores as pressed does. Try investing in both and use the pressed powder in your T-zone (nose, forehead) where your skin is oily and breaks out more. Then, apply the loose powder on the rest of your face. hope that helps!

- Bodum is a brand of French press coffee makers. No, you don't need to buy a filter for it. I think it's nice to get a bag of interesting coffee to make up the gift, perferably Fairtrade coffee and go for a strength 4 or 5 because it makes a better coffee for these sorts of presses. Bodum is good because they last, the glass is strong and when they press, the work soooo much better than the cheap ones. Check online, they aren't 'expensive' but more than ?5/$5 understandably because Bodum is a quality brand and it shows because of better design rather than something that looks like a French press but is inadequate or fragile and breaks 2 weeks later!

- Perm Press is the compromise cycle between Regular Wash and Gentle Cycle. It's a little gentler than the regular wash and a little rougher than the Gentle Cycle. I never use it. :) In fact, I never use anything but the regular cycle. Hope this helps. -
- Q: I'm in Girls weights and I can barely bench the 45 pound bar. I can do like 3 reps and then my arms give out. (we do a total of 5.) I can squat 95, incline press 35 and hang clean 35. I really need to be able to bench the 45 pound bar. Thats like the minimum weight for my class. Any tips on building up the muscle fast or something?
- you can do bench press type exercises using 2 dumbells a little less than the 45lb weight of the bar then build up your strength

- If you have dry skin I would not necessarily recommend a pressed powder. Pressed powders are made for oily skin types to help eliminate excess shine (oil). If you have dry skin you should use a moisturizer (designed specifically for FACE only), and possibly a sheer tinted moisturizer or sheer, hydrating foundation. I would avoid the powder as it will only aid your skin in soaking up whatever little moisture it might still have, and end up looking cakey and flaky. (Clinique has a few nice dry skin options for younger skin starting at around $18... drugstore I would stick to L'OREAL as they own LANCOME which is an amazingly good quality brand of makeup). LANCOME makes my favorite lip glosses but they are a bit pricey. Try Bath and Body Work's... they have wonderful flavors with just a hint of color, tons of good-for-your-lips moisture, and mega, mega shine! (Depending on sales, $5-$8)
