- Q: Can somebody tell me about the invention of printing press and its impact on human society?
- Johannes Gutenberg (time magazines man of the millenium I believe) created the printing press. This is true but, be very careful because history is never so clear when you are learned. The Chinese invented movable type around 400 B.C. You can say this was an independaent invention but, even reliable sources get this wrong. The invention of movable type made it so books and journals could be made instead of hand copied, Can you imagine? Writing all of that stuff instead of using a printer. This made people smarter because they now could get copies of books and newspapers. edit* as you notice not to undermind anyone but, the poster below me got it wrong. The Chinese did not have a printing press they had movable type a distinction to be made. If you want sources edit your question, ask and you will get them. I believe this might be just SS homework however so unless requested I won't bother. It is interesting though b/c I corrected my University on this very topic! They made a display in the library and I told them they needed to be more careful after much consideration and chasing down referrences they told me they would change it (I always thought they should have given me some meaningless reward but oh well).

- mine are quite wide as well and i've never had a problem with press on nails. make sure the nails don't say petite The press on nails usually come with quite a few different sizes for each nail so you shouldn't have a problem love!

- I work in sports TV and I've never heard that term. Do you mean press release? Media Guide? A press release is a fax/e-mail sent by the media relations department to the press. It's usually an announcement that they want the media to cover or it's a a generic statement if there's some sort of controversy. Most of the time, these releases are posted on team's websites. They're usually not that informative. A media guide is a book with stats, rosters, bios, and any other information that will make the media's job a little easier. Again, most teams are posting these on their website and anyone can access them. They're not all that interesting unless you're a stats junky.

- First check with local law enforcement as to the requirements for an official press pass... you may only need to make your awn as a freelance photojournalist or you can Google IFPO and join them. They have various packages you can buy and they include official press badges for their members. I am a member since 1978 and have never had a problem. I have the cards hanging off my camera bag and I have a leather pouch for one to wear. I have also formed my own organization Orlando Freelance Photography PRESS club and we use our own, Some entertainment venues are restrictive and require you to have one of their press packets... it contains information on the event, restrictions and a press pass. You want it to say all area access as well as PRESS. They must contain a photograph of you and your signature. The local government here in Orlando do not require any official press pass. Some venues will require an assignment letter from your organization as well. IFPO will provide that as you will work for their magazine American Freelance Photographer. beaux

- i don't think so because to build muscle mass you need to do a weight that you can do only 4-5 reps of. I am 17, 9stone and bench press 100kg to build muscle and 70kg to build endurance. Try to chose a weight that you can only do a few reps in strict form. Do about 3-4 sets of these. To build chest muscle you can also try pec fly.
