- Q:I recieved a cookie press with a pair of bake sheets i bought. I figure to put the cookie dough in the tube and press either the handle or the rod down. It doesn't do anything + the cookie shape attatchement are only little holes , how does that make a whole cookie?
- The handle should send the dough down the tube. The little holes you see are the design it is going to make. What you do is, place the end of the cookie press onto the sheet and start pressing the handle. You want enough dough to come out to kinda make a circle.....slightly lift the cookie press while the dough is coming out. Maybe a 1/8 of a inch. Then once you get the size of the cookie you want.....stop pumping the handle and slowly lift the press. You will get a cookie with a specific design.
- Q:Saw it on twitter friend said Saw Hannah at Panera # pressed
- The # symbol is called a hashtag, it relates to whatever the person is doing or talking about. Panera Bread makes delicious panini sandwiches, which are pressed sandwiches. So if you saw someone at Panera Bread you would probably be talking about their pressed panini sandwiches, so #pressed Don't think too hard about hashtags.
- Q:Its for a school project ;s How was the printing press important like what good htings aand bad things did it do
- As important as it gets. In the 15thC a chap called Wycliffe translated the Bible into English, only a handful of copies were in circulation because they all had to be hand written. It influenced a small band of followers (Lollards) but nothing really significant happened. When Caxton set up his press in Westminster, he was printing books by the hundred. William Tyndale again translated the Bible into English and had it printed in Antwerp, and imported into England but unlike Wycliffe he had hundreds of copies spread throughout the country. The authorities wanted it banned and tried to do so but second and third printings some in London, made it into a best seller. Tydale was executed for his troubles but his translation just kept selling. Eventually helping to lead to the reformation of the church. Something the Lollards a century earlier had wanted but been unable to get. Also because they were so cheap in comparison with hand written manuscripts they disseminated knowledge over a wider area quicker. More people learnt to read, because there were more schools. There were more schools because more people wanted to learn, and books were cheap enough for them to do so. Less ignorance led to a better life the speed of change quickened. I am not aware of any down sides, for civilisation the authorities didn't always like a free press, but in the long term it was only good that came out of printing.
- Q:I've been improving in other areas of weight lifting, but cannot seem to improve on my bench press. What exercise can I do to be able to lift more?

- Q:In a batch file, I know what this will do.set/p cho=gt;if %cho%==w goto UPif %cho%==a goto LEFTif %cho%==d goto RIGHTYou press the key, hit enter, and it goes to the corresponding section in the batch file. But how do I make it, so when the user of the file presses one key, it goes to that section instantly without having to press enter?
- Something like this ECHO OFF SET Choice= SET /P Choice=Press enter to open abc.exe (and something else to quit) IF %Choice%== GOTO Start GOTO End :Start echo abc.exe about to start abc.exe :End EDIT: If you want just any key without pressing enter then this is impossible with the DOS scripting language but you could write a little exe utility who will do that for you. Here is how it looks: C:Usersholtest Press enter to open abc.exe (and something else to quit) If you press enter then we get: C:Usersholtest2 Press enter to open abc.exe (and something else to quit) abc.exe about to start 'abc.exe' is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file. C:Usershol I have not abc.exe so there is an error message. The other way around C:Usersholtest2 Press enter to open abc.exe (and something else to quit)x gives C:Usersholtest2 Press enter to open abc.exe (and something else to quit)x C:Usershol Basically set /p ask the user to specify the value of Choice when it is just enter then it is an empty string and we can start otherwise we end. Change it around for your liking.

- Q:I am a freelance writer and I want to be professional when conducting interviews. I do have business cards that I had done stating that I am a freelance writer, yet is that enough? Should I produce my own press pass for credential purposes? If so, how and where can I get one?
- In the old days, you could buy a press pass from various companies advertising in the back of the writer's magazines. Now, of course, you can buy a $15 laminator at OfficeMax and call yourself whatever you like. But that only gets you so far. Most press passes have authorization information on them, a contact someone can call to verify that you're really on an assignment. Many events also require you to pre-register to get their press credentials. I suggest you also consider having some contact cards printed up (VistaPrint does some nice work) ... these can be presented to those you meet, greet and interview to convey the image you desire. When I meet someone I hand them one and identify myself as writing an article for the local newspaper rather than being from the local newspaper. Good Luck.

- Q:i think press wood is a rip off for the people that by's press wood furniture anyone agreas with me.
- Press wood as you call it might better known as particle board. It was invneted in the 50's due to a shortage of timber. in reality is well suited for aplications such as cabinets and vanities as well as furniture that is not moved much like a china hutch. It is actually a viable product and proably appears more often that you realize. not to mention it is cheap and easily made from the scraps of timber that would other wise be thrown away.
- Q:I have a 2000 Mazda Miata and up until recently it has functioned perfectly. Recently it started to make a squealing sound when the clutch was pressed. I noticed the sound would go away as soon as the car warmed up. Now however the problem has leveled. The car now stalls every time i press the clutch. If I press the clutch it makes that squealing noise until stalling the car. I have not driven it since it stalled on me. My question is what is causing all of this mess? and am I pretty much at the point of no return? Will I pretty much have to replace my whole transmission?
- sounds like your clutch plate has gone,or worn out, check to make sure its not fluid or a cable fault first,if you cant do the job youself,it will cost
