- Q: i dont usually wear foundation, but i do sometimes wear powder to soak up oils on my skin. my skin does get very oily on my t-zone but otherwise my skin isnt too oily. which would stay longer for everyday coverage? i just use them to keep the shinyness away... so pressed or loose?! i just wear them over concealer mostly. thx!Z

- I've primed many a cartridge with a Lee hand primer. Not only can you do it way from the press, but lets you have yet another look over the cartridges for any problems. With a Progressive your stuck priming on the press if you want to get the speed advantage of a progressive press.
- Q: I've bench pressed for many years and encountered this problem over the past 2months.During my first set I will get pretty intense pain in my right bicep.It will be fine after the 2nd set but never the less it is very uncomfortable, could lead to joint damage and reduces how much I can do on my chest during the session.How can I resolve this problem?Why is it happening?
- Well first off it could be from any number of things, now you say you have been lifting for years so im sure you know that the tricep is the secondary muscle when benching, however depending on how wide your grip is, and what the position of your arms are at the bottom of the press can put more strain on muscles other than your chest and tris, therefore your biceps could be called in to the press, ask someone to watch you and when let them know when the pain starts, is most intense, and when it starts to go away throughout the rep. then try moving around your grip and and relying on stricter form and have them watch you again and see if the point of pain changes, lessens, or increases. None the less you should talk to a sports injury specialist, NOT YOUR GENERAL PHYSICIAN, nothing against them, but those that are in the sports medicine field study specifically that.
- Q: would doing assisted bench presses (with a machine) gain me as much mass to the chest as doing regular bench pressing? Is there a difference in the amount of mass you would gain or is it basically the same?
- the asisted bench press just keeps your arms straight and guides you so you dont go down and cant get back up but you do need to increase the weight cause the bar isnt standarded olympic bar weight. my trainer allows told me the machines are for getting ripped and free weights are for getting big but logically as long as you putting up the same weight the same amount of mass is built but i prefer free weight benching
- Q: I can curl 85lbs on a preacher table, squat 250, 75lbs skull crushers, leg press lbs, but for the life of me I can't bench 160+lbs I don't know why? I'm 26yrs old, 215lbs. I take pre-workout energy drinks, whey protein 2-3 times a day, and nitric oxide pills. I go to the gym 4-5 times a week up to 3 hours. All forms of bench pressing incline, flat, decline. All of which I do pitiful weight..?? I practice, train and no solid results please help. Thanks
- Impressive numbers on the other exercises, congratulations. 3 hours seems a might long to be in the gym, but if it's working great. Now, don't get me wrong on this, but when you hit the plateau on the bench press, did you ever consider dropping back the weight. Say you have tried 160 3 or 4 times, and went to 170, but hit a wall. Well, next time time try 150lbs in a few workouts, with more reps than you did with 160, and than go back to 155, 2 workouts, 160, 2 workouts, and 165, 2 workouts. We all hit a wall at one time or another, and the hardest thing for us to do, is drop back weight. One other side note, throw in a few extra dumbbell presses. This may have sounded corny to drop weight, but it does work. Good Luck

- are u talking about Covergirl's TRUblend pressed powder or Loreal's true match pressed powder? I havent tried the trublend powder but i have tried the true match and i love it! i use it to set my foundation and it makes it look flawless. Ofcourse you have to apply the right amount using a brush not the sponge cause the results may be cakey.
- Q: Hi, I just wanted to ask a question about basic press-ups.For the last few weeks i've been doing 100 press ups a night, in two sets of 50 (with a good few minutes break in between), anyway i noticed a huge difference at first, but for a while it's not actually improving anything. Anyway i was wondering if it would be effective to switch this exericse to alternative days, and on the other days to do 50 normal press ups, 10 narrow ones (with hands together touching) and 10 wide ones (with arms considerably far apart) or other amounts depending on how difficult it will prove; so my question is would this prove effecitve and is it worthwhile? Otherwise i'll just continue with 100 press ups.Many thanks
- the best thing you could do to get results with press ups at this stage (seeing as you can do more than 50 pushups) is to condense your workouts one set once or twice a week doing as many pushups as you can till failure. that's it. each time you do pushups try and do more than you did previously and that will help you get results. another good way to go about getting results with press ups is to switch to a more difficult variation whcih will decrease the number of reps you can do. you can also try wearing a backpack with weights put inside to weigh you down as you do the press ups.
