I am replacing a regular light switch with a more fashionable looking design. When I took out the old light switch there was a red and a black wire attached. I am used to white and black. Which wire is considered the white wire when I am wiring this switch?

Switches don't require a neutral (white wire) One of these wires is hot..the other feeds the fixture. Attach to the terminals of the switch. More than likely if you look into the box you will see the white wires maretted together for continuity return

I just installed a backup camera however I am having trouble wiring it. I've read that I need to tap into the reverse wire, however I went through many wires and couldn't figure out which one is it. You can remove your tail light and tap into the reverse wire there. It is easy to find just look at your reverse light bulb and use a multimeter to test for positive and negative (that would be the right way to do it at least). If your wanting to have the camera able to be on all the time and viewed from the headunit then you would need to wire the camera to switched accessory so it has power when the car is on and hook up your head units wiring (which you will need to do anyway to make the h/u switch to b/u cam when you go into reverse) to the reverse wire.

How do you attach light wires to boat trailer frame?

If your frame is hollow, use a fish to bring the wires through the frame. Some things you want to watch out for is corrosion of the trailer, and the wires flapping in the wind, or the wires snagging on something when trailering. That being said if you have to mount the wires externally use enough enough clips to keep the wires snug to the trailer. Be sure to seal the holes you drilled for the clips with silicone or rust preventive paint. If you can go through the frame internally, you need only secure the wires with clips at entry and exit points.

the model prefix letters will be on the sticker label affixed to the front vertical steering bearing shaft tube, and should be on the frame side covers too wiring diagrams can be found online sometimes with google if not then look on OKorder for a wiring diagram book you should be able to find oen for cheap service manual chassis manual wiring manual i have found them for bikes i have had in the past for cheap good luck

I am buying my sister Interior Underdash lights for her car, but it says it requires a quot;hard wire installationbecause it does not come with an on and off switch. What exactly does that mean? Hard wire means it's not just plugged in. eg. using the cigarette lighter but instead is permanently wired in. All you need to do is wire the lights ground wire to any ground wire under the dash eg. ignition ground or radio ground ( wire will be black ) or directly to a screw that goes into any metal part of the chassis and wire the lights positive wire to either the accessory wire from your ignition (lights come on when car is on) or a constant power wire eg. radio power wire and wire in a toggle switch so you can turn the lights on or off at will.

You need to block off the whole area. Some rabbits actually like the taste of the bitter sprays, so they aren't that effective.
