Q: I've lost my Advent AW10 printer power cable whilst moving home and haven't used my printer in a while. I need a new power cable but was just wondering what cable would be compatible or where to get another one from for cheap. Thanks.
Here is the support site you could order the part from adventprintersupport-en.custhelp.... You could get from a computer store if there is one near by...
Q: I already have RCA cables. Just need to find a place that would sell the power cord.
If you do get your hands on the cable- don't lose it. I wrecked my car, and when i was removing the stereo, i forgot the cable. I looked all over for the darn thing, luckily, an installer had a guy who's changer had broken, but they kept the cable for some reason.
Q: I lost my power cable for my Ipod Shuffle 2nd Gen, can I use the 3rd gen shiffle power cord for the 2nd gen? My logic: $55 for a new ipod 3rd gen or $30 for a new power adapter for the 2nd gen. $25 more I have a new ipod... but it would be nice if I can still use the 2nd gen as well...
My first, a 4th technology iPod Nano (8GB), became a Christmas present whilst i became sixteen - i'm now 23 and it in simple terms crapped out on me some months in the past. So, as long as you're taking good care of it, it may final a minimum of seven years! i will by no skill purchase yet another variety - my husband is exhausted via my seek for any such particular MP3 participant yet, i'm telling you, Apple is the superb thank you to bypass :)
Q: I'm building another computer to give to someone, i have all the parts and when it got down to installing the CD drive and the Hard drive i plugged the sata cables into the motherboard but when i looked to install them to the power supply mine did not have any of those cables. I had spare cables from my other power supply but they require you to plug them into the power supply but since the other power supply is older it doesn't work. I was wondering if i could get cables that plug into the extra connectors then to the CD drive/ Hard drive instead of plugging them into the power supply then the CD drive/ Hard drive.
There's 2 types of power connectors, old style 4-pin Molex and Sata power. Adapters are pretty cheap, just check Monoprice.
Q: i'm building a computer soon and i was unsure if the data/power cables come with the disc/hard drive or the motherboard or the psu.. HELP
IDE or SATA data cables come with the motherboard.
Q: Hi everyone, I recently purchased a PS3 used not slim and am having a tough time with it. For one, I don't even know how to charge my four red dot blinking controller and turn on the ps3. I'm wondering since I got everything hooked up but still not even a red dot on the ps3 when I put in the power cable at the end there is that thing with the three things sticking out, where do I put that? Like a place where I charge my phone? I think that's why I'm having problems. Thanks.
ok. the PS3 uses a standard 3 prong plug, similar to what your PC would use. plug that in, and then into the wall. older PS3's also have a power switch right above the power cord. you have to turn the system on here. after you filp the switch, the PS3 enters standby mode. on to your controller you should have gotten a very short usb cable. the larger end plugs into the system.the smaller into the controller. push the PS button on the center of your controller to sync it. it should go from 4 flashing lights to one. then, it should steady flash position 1 to show that it is charging. one it is charged, or when the usb cable is removed, you should get a steady light. no flashes.
Q: I recently bought a new internal hard drive for my computer (Hitachi Hds721010cla332, a upgraded version of what I currently have). When trying to install it I found out that the power socket isnt the same as my current hard drive. Ive been searching on the internet but cant find an adapter that converts from my current hard drives power cable to the new hard drives required power cable.
That is a SATA hard drive and requires a SATA data cable and a SATA power cable. The long slot is the power connecter and the short slot is for the data cable. If you power supply does not have a SATA power connecter, all you need is a 4 pin molex to SATA power adapter. They are available at any computer supply outlet. Staples, or Office Depot, or any good computer repair shop should have one. The little port that you have circled in the photo does not need a connection.
Q: my friend has a dell that has a btx mobo. the power supply looks like all the other power supplys. will getting a regular power cord at radio shack fit and work with the dell power supplys. the cables that come out of the supply are all the same as usual ones.
the power cord for most all power supplies are universal.
Q: hey guys, i recently bought a new desktop computer however when i unpacked it and put it all together i discovered that i had not received a power cable for the tower. i discovered an old one in the mess that is my bottom drawer and was wandering does it matter what power cable is used for the tower? or are there different power cables for different PSU's?
As long as it fits, it should work.
Q: What is the role of white mesh in power cables?
This is not the end of the family with a good audio and video lines are thousands of dollars I do not know what kind of advice you want to go to the local workers Duan Gengmang Gama moths tied to the supermarket stall can find!
