Now unscrew the impeller with a socket wrench. Take it easy as they are quite soft. Once that is off, you should be able to pry the seal out, and pop a new one in. A good way to get old seals out is to use a screw, screw it in to the seal then grab it with the pliers. You might want to replace the oil seal while you are there since they are so cheap. To do this though you will have to remove the rh crank case cover cause this seal sits in the inside of this cover. This is also an easy job. When you remove the rh crank case cover ( with impeller already removed) the water pump shaft should just slide out from the inside and give you easy access to both seals.

- Not sure I quite understand the question completely, but here goes. If you have one well of sufficient pipe size, usually no less than 1 1/2 coming up out of the ground, and a standard 1/2 - 3/4 hp pump won't pump much water out of the well, then the point is probably partially plugged with lime and crud. If that's the case, you can try putting muratic acid down the pipe, let it set for a day and then hook the pump back up and pump water for a couple hours out of the well. Or you can try shooting a 22 rifle down the pipe, sometimes the concussion of the bullet hitting the water is enough to push enough of the junk off the screen to allow a decent flow for a while. Or you can do the proper thing and have the point pulled and replaced, (you can do it yourself with a decent bumper jack and a well dri ver). Good luck

- sorry but you need to let a pro do this, you could of easily blown your head gaskets(MAJOR MONEY), running it hot, good luck, oil changes has nothing to do with the coolant problem, even if they topped off the antifreeze they would charge you and tell you, and if they left the cap off the coolant resivoir, it wouldnt steam and smoke out of the exhaust, good luck

- you dont have to pull the power steeing pulley off...There three holes in the power steering pulley that allow access to two or possible three bolt that hold the pump to the bracket... Remove the belt, then get a deep either 13 mm or 10 mm socket and place it in one of the holes in the pulley...you will find that when you remove the bolts, the pump will slide out of the way.... Do not remove any powersteeing lines or any other item from the power steering pump..You will only be causing yourself more work..... The brillant engineers at GM left you an out...All you have to do is look...ha ha

- You may have a broken water line. The lose of water pressure, even from a small leak, would keep the pump running. A partially frozen intake line would slow the pump down. The impeller inside the pump may be bad and not able to bring the pressure up. You can keep turning the pump off and on as needed until you find the problem. Make sure the pipes are warm to keep them from freezing.
