6.Conditions of use
Pumps used in the following conditions should be continuously to work properly:
1. For water pumps suitable medium, medium temperature shall not exceed + 40°C
2. The medium PH value between 6.5 ~ 8.5
3. The volume of medium containing solid impurity is less than 0.1%, the size is not more than 0.2 mm
4. The power frequency 50 hz, voltage for single-phase 220 v, 380 v, three-phase voltage fluctuation range for rating of 0.9 to 1.1 times
5. Diving depth of no more than 5 m, is not suitable for irrigation and drainage of sewage and chemicals.
- Q: We bought a plot of land and me and my father found a deactivated water well in there. We checked and it's 328 feet deep and is still full of water.How would i go about setting up a pump on it?

- jason is right on this. a water pump wont do what your saying. it sounds more like something inside the engine is knocking, like a rod bearing.
- Q: I'm not familiar w/ this model but need to swap out the water pump. I have no pictures or publications. Anything in particular to watch out for? Is this a pushrod engine w/ a water pump mounted in the front center of the engine and driven by a serpentine belt? Thanks in advance.
- It's very easy to change. It's driven by a serpantine belt but it's off center Right up front closer to the radiator and on top. Break the 13mm pulley bolt's loose, remove the belt, remove loosened pulley bolts and pulley. Then there's like 6, 8mm bolts to remove the pump and that's it. You might have to remove the overflow tank to make it easier to get to. The pump is round and looks like it will go on any 'ol way but it doesn't. It only goes on one way.
- Q: I have a 1997 mercedes 320e and it is leaking very bad. I need a temporary fix for the water pump, so that I can take it to the repair shop that is 10 min. away.
- Don't try and don't listen to these idiots telling you to leave the cap off or give it a go. The engine will get hot in much less than 10 minutes and those heads are very lightweight aluminum that don't do well when overheated. Not having pressure in the cooling system is almost as bad as not having water with that engine. The easiest way is to have someone replace the pump on the spot. Otherwise, shell out the $50 for a tow unless you want to risk trashing the engine.

- Q: I have a 1998 ford taurus. It started to over heat so i turned on the heater full blast and it didn't get hot. so i put antifreeze in it and i turned it on and it seemed ok but it started to over heat again and the tank for the antifreeze looked like the cap was going to pop off. I was just down the road from my house so i thought if i drove slow i could make it home and it turned on ok but when i put it in drive it stalled. Does this mean its the water pump??????
- If your water pump goes bad it leaks. A Lot. You can watch the water pour out from under your car like an open faucet, car running or off. If you are having cooling issues and must get home or to the shop slowing down will only make it worse. Your radiator is designed to use moving airflow to cool the water system. Even if you have little water in your radiator the air will help cool everything under the hood... to an extent. Between 50 and 60 are the best speeds for cars low on water. Trust me. If you're not seeing any leaking water then it could be one of these reasons: Radiator clogged. Thermostat bad. Head gasket.
- Q: The pond is 10' long x 2' wide x 1' deep. The pump is at one end and water is raised 1' to a buried garden hose that is maybe 12' long and then at the end it goes up 2' to release the water over some rocks. I had a 330 gph pump that worked well but died. That size has been discontinued. Go smaller or bigger? DON
- bigger is ALWAYS better when it comes to this application! do you run your water through a biological filter medium of some sort? the ideal circulation rate for biological filtration is 3 times or more per hour that the entire volume of your pond water to be circulated.
- Q: I have a cabin cruiser and I recently took it out of storage and had it de winterized. Now everything seems to work except for the fresh water pump for the sink, shower and toilet. Does this type of pump need to be primed? If so how do you prime it? Thank you for the help.
- Try hooking a solid 12 volts directly to the pump to 'jump start' the pump.. That got mine started... As mentioned in another post, these pumps are disposable items.. Good luck...
- Q: could it be the water pump??
- I would suggest you check your oil immediately, it sounds like a head gasket or some other leakage. I doubt it would be water pump. If your oil is discolored do not run the engine.
