- Q: My family's bathroom is very strange, the original exhaust is because there is a taste, but the opening up, often is the more row of smelly, can not find any reason to buy fresh air things, it seems that no effect, hope we all know Help to see what the reasons, and I was here to decorate less than two years time.
- The problem of floor drain
- Q: I have an 03 RSX type s, I want an hks catback exhaust this guy has on his 05-06. Will it be a direct bolt on for me or will it need some extras to make it work. Also would this be the same said if I wanted to put an 05-06 stock exhaust on my 03
- If your cat's anything like mine, she'll fall asleep before building up any serious voltage.
- Q: So i want to put the 2 into 1 exhaust system on my Triumph Thruxton and want to know if it‘s street legal in California. If not, is there some way around this?
- Unless your motorcycle and/or the exhaust was built in 2013, all you have do is comply with the noise limits. 27202.1. (d) (1) This section is applicable to a person operating a motorcycle that is manufactured on or after January 1, 2013, or a motorcycle with aftermarket exhaust system equipment that is manufactured on or after January 1, 2013. -- www.leginfo.ca /cgi-bin/displa.
- Q: I have a 1998 Dodge Ram 1500 Ext. Cab. Im wanting to get a new sound system on it, but i can't decide what to get. i have seen some vids on youtube of straight piped Rams and they sound great, really loud. But i wanted that tone that an exhaust system like Flowmaster would give. Does anybody have any idea how i can get the loudness of straight pipes with the sound of a Flowmaster?
- Install a custom over sized dual exhaust with matched catalytic converters and a set of semi-baffled Cherry Bomb brand or performance Flowmaster mufflers. Not only will it sound great but it will be Legal and improve your performance and the fuel economy will be better too!
- Q: Just wondering and how much does a lift kit coast for one 2?
- Realistically, your not going to notice a big change in power when changing the exhaust. You might get a few extra horse power, but nothing very noticeable, except for a better sound. You didn't give a year, make or model but on the high dollar side of it, Borla exhaust sound really good. Or on the lower dollar side, I would check out Corsa and Magnaflow. A lot of people suggest Flowmaster, but beware, they have a terrible drone when cruising down the road. If you want to get the most out of your exhaust system, I would also add headers and a high flow cat. You can here any one of these exhausts on youtube, just type in your trucks make and model followed by the make of exhaust and you should get multiple videos to watch and listen. Here's a couple of links to get pricing.
- Q: I would like to purchase an aftermarket exhaust system for my car. I have done some research and have found a Pacesetter Monza. A Borla exhaust part 11734. A Mandrel custom made exhaust. And a Trubendz custom made exhaust. I would like the exhaust to be relatively quiet because I still want to be able to hear someone while hitting the gas but i don‘t want it to be stock. I want some grunt. Plus i would like to have good airflow and a solid all round exhaust. Please help me find the right exhaust for my needs. I have about 300-350$. I will be installing myself.
- Ezra, You did your research well. The pacesetter is an okay header, the best headers that were offered available were the SVTF Header, The Kamikazee Header (always a great choice) and the ZXTuner headers. The pacesetter is an okay decision, however, the main issue that many experienced were the welds on them failing or causing problems. I'd go maybe a maximum of 2.25 if you're only sticking to basic mods. If you were doing pistons and cam work I'd say 2.5 but the basics are great for 2.25 since yous till want some backpressure in that system. If you don't want it to be obnoxious I'd add a resonator as well, the borla exhaust sounds excellent with a resonator and the system listed. Nice grunt, not too much, just right.
- Q: Was gonna get dual exhaust system - but I‘m thinking of just getting a performance muffler on my stock single exhaust as its significantly cheaper and I like the sound clip the shop showed me,but is that okay? will people make fun of me that its not dual? will it still be cool?
- personally i find adding performance parts to economy cars repulsive to begin with, but i would not laugh. id tend to laugh over the dual exhaust though.
- Q: I want to get an exhaust system on my v8 ls1 camaro and I want a nice deep aggressive loud sound. What exhaust is loud when idleing, flooring g, and driving, I‘ve heard borla is loud
- flow masters 40 series great sound you wont have any problems with them and if you want them loud you might want to install bigger pipes
- Q: if u can, will it pass inspection?
- why the hell dont you just put a muffler see people have this thing that if the car dosent have a muffler then it has more power that isn't the case my car use to have straight pipes thats how i bought it but it was too loud and it really didnt have power cuz it had no back preassure what so ever i might have just been runing with out an exhaust system at all but i put in a high flow muffler it quite it down and it gave it better performance put in bigger pipes put in a highflow muffler keep your catalyctic converter and if you have headers change them before you smogg it then you shood be ok ive been doing this for 5 years now
- Q: If a car is never driven in wet weather, can the exhaust system last 200-300 thousand miles before replacement
- No. Wet weather has nothing to do with exhaust system failure. The rust is from the inside out, not the outside in. I doubt any other parts could last that long either.
