Operations Conditions
1. The medium temperature should not be over 60oC, the density 1200Kg/m3, and the pH value within 5-9.
2. During running, the pump must not be lower than the permitted lowest liquid level.
3. Rated voltage 380 V, rated frequency 50 Hz. The motor can run successfully, only under the condition the deviations of both rated voltage and frequency are not over ± 5%.
4. The maximum diameter of the solid grain going through the pump has not to be larger than 50% of that of the pump outlet.

- Q: okay i just put a new camshaft in my truck and before my water pump seemed to work but it leaked a little bit but my truck never got hot well i drove it a little bit after puting in the new camshaft and the top radiator hose and heater hose was warm but the bottom radiator hose was cold so i think my water pump went out but not to sure thanks to any answers
- I would check the thermostat. But you don't check it like the first answer indicates. Pull the thermostat out. Look at it if it is open it is bad. If it is closed put it in a pot of boiling water. If it does not move it is bad. This may seam like allot to go through but if it is not the thermostat your only out the cost of a new gasket. And you know for sure. If there is nothing wrong with the thermostat , than you aren't getting circulation. A few causes would be: Cooling system clogged water pump bad internal leak or external leak. If you have a leak the system can't build pressure.It will take a long time to warm up and or it will make you think it is over heating but it will only be a leak. It will also run hot. NEVER OPEN A RADIATOR CAP WHEN THE ENGINE IS HOT. YOU WILL BE GOING TO THE HOSPITAL TO HAVE YOUR BURNS TREATED!!!
- Q: Got pump ready and will not pump water. Have tried all things suggested to prime but will not pump water
- You prime the gas with gasoline and the water pump is primed with water. The water pump needs a stop valve in the intake so you can add water and it will not run out. Once the impeller is full and the pump is running it should pump OK.
- Q: My 93 Ford t-bird over heats and i really don't know what could be the problem, the radiator is working fine, and also the fan and the thermostat, i don't think is a head gasket because the oil looks alright with no contamination and there is no steam coming from the exhaust im beginning to suspect the water pump but the weep hole is not leaking. So does a water pump MUST leak from the weep hole if it is bad, or it could be bad and not leak? thanks in advance...
- It doesn't have to leak from the weep hole to have a bad shaft bearing in your pump. This won't affect your pump's ability to create a flow. Warm your car up and see if coolant ever moves or if it just stays put or comes out of the cap. You may just have a bad thermostat or a clogged radiatior (internally clogged).

- The labor involved in replacing a timing belt will normally cover the installation of a water pump as well. The reason the dealer is recommending the water pump replacement at this time is that the labor involved in changing the timing belt makes it much more cost effective for you to do it at this time. Even though your water pump is working great right now, if you need to replace it in the future, the labor cost will be enormous and close to the cost of replacing your timing belt alone.

- Simple overheating is rarely the water pump. In most cases water pump failure means either a leak, which is visible as dripping from a weep hole under the car near the timing belt cover, or as a seized shaft, which would mean the engine would quit running immediately and probably be seriously damaged by failure of the timing belt that powers the water pump. Having got past that, consider the conditions of the overheating. If you are losing coolant, start with that. Verify the loss is not because of a head gasket by the simple test: with the engine cold, remove the radiator cap. Start the engine and place the palm of your hand over the radiator neck where the cap came off, and pinch closed the hose to the reservoir. If you feel steadily rising pressure within 3-5 seconds (if the idle is surging, ignore those changes) that is bad news for the head gasket. Otherwise move on. Look for leaks at the end of every hose by feeling with a clean paper towel on your hand, and look for whitish streaks around the top and bottom of the radiator. If coolant is not disappearing, the overheating must occur when in slow traffic or idling, or on the highway, or all the time. If it is when going slow or idling you probably won't see the fan running when it is hot. If it is on the highway, or if it gets hot and stays hot all the time, the radiator is probably plugged with hard water deposits from using tap water to dilute the antifreeze.

- The water pump shaft seal could fail totally at any time. So if you don't want to risk expensive engine damage, you might as well have it fixed now. If your engine timing belt drives the water pump, you may need to replace the timing belt and tensioner as well.
- Q: I put the new water pump in and the metal tube that goes to the heater hose it is hitting the wheel that holds the 3 belts that goes onto the water pump. why is it doing that. got the right pump. I have a 1986 firebird V6. any ideas?
- It is either configured wrong, (or wrong part number form the factory) or you are putting the pulleys on wrong. You may have left a spacer off, or one or more pulleys is installed backwards or in the wrong order. Make sure the one you have is for the exact engine and options that you have. There are differences for having A/C or not, and other things. Go to a different auto parts store, and compare water pumps from a different supplier. Sometimes they make mistakes when they assemble them, sometimes they assign the wrong part number to them, and sometimes some customer buys one and returns another.
