Operations Conditions
1. The medium temperature should not be over 60oC, the density 1200Kg/m3, and the pH value within 5-9.
2. During running, the pump must not be lower than the permitted lowest liquid level.
3. Rated voltage 380 V, rated frequency 50 Hz. The motor can run successfully, only under the condition the deviations of both rated voltage and frequency are not over ± 5%.
4. The maximum diameter of the solid grain going through the pump has not to be larger than 50% of that of the pump outlet.

- Q: mechanic says the bearings are going on the pump, and they might as well replace the thermostat while they are there.my question is he right?do they have to remove the engine to replace either the pump or the thermostat?seems like a lot of $ for a what should be a simple job ($450).thanks for your help!
- The waterpump is very hard to get at to replace it. They do no thave to remove the engine, but they do have to remove a lot of the components to get to the waterpump. And it is a good idea to replace the thermostat while they have all the components removed. That way you can be sure that the thermostat will not be a problem later on. Especially now during winter. I think that is a fair price, unless you can get somebody else to do it other than a pro. It is worth saving your engine. If it gets hot, and you run it, your heads may become warped, your waterpump will give out and will cause much more damage. you will have to replace the pistons , rings, or probably the entire motor. good luck my friend.
- Q: Is it cheaper to run an electric water pump or a furnace?
- heat water/pump. not sure what that is but I know what a heat pump is. If that whats your talking about thean the answer is well...yes and no. depending on cost of gas and electric typical a heat pump is better to run for heat as along as its above freezing outside. It will still work and put out heat all winter but it won't be much heat for what your paying for, at which point your better with gas heat.
- Q: my sump pump keeps filling with sewer water. i cant figure out why or where it could be coming from. and the smell is awful.
- I'm guessing that instead of the ground water being pumped to outsde somewhere, it was installed into the sewer system. If a check valve wasn't installed or if it leaks by, and your sewer line is backing up, it will backfeed down the outlet pipe and into your pit. If you had a lot of water coming in from the ground, it would force the sewer water out of a drain somewhere, like a laundry drain, sink drain, shower drain, or toilet. If this is the case, get your sewer line to the main checked and have the sump pump installed properly.
- Q: I was driving when my temp gauge shot up all the way so i pulled off the next exit and my car shut off and started smoking i noticed the water pump belt was in shreds and what seemed to be anti freeze fluid and water was everywhere. I'm curious what could have broke maybe a gasket or the waterpump it's self besides just the belt?
- Water pump blew up, lost your radiator fluid and broke a belt. Don't drive it, get it towed to a repair shop.
- Q: it is a mazda b3000 pick up v6,it is coming from behind water pump,but it is not all the time, i would think that if pump is going it would be all the time, but it will go bone dry for a few dayswhen it does leak it leaves about an 8 inch spot on the driveway,temp gauge goes to its regular spot and does not move,any suggestions would be helpful,thanks
- Buy some coolant dye from a parts store and put it in the radiator....clean the area around the leak well, drive it for a few days and check with a blacklight...hardware stores carry the bulbs. Could be an intermittent pump or gasket leak.
- Q: I have a 2001 chevy malibu and need to know how to check if the water pump needs replaced. The engine has been running much hotter than normal and is leaking coolant.
- Remove the belt and try to turn it by hand. If it makes a growling noise or you can feel roughness in the bearing, then you should replace the pump. Also, look for any leaks anywhere around the water pump that would suggest it needs replacement. If there's no roughness or leaks at the pump, look elsewhere for a leak. Also check your radiator cap to make sure it's holding the proper pressure. Also check your thermostat to make sure it isn't starting to fail. Check to make sure your radiator fans come on too.
