Characteristic

Compact structure,beautiful outline,stable operation,low noise;

Both inlet and outlet of this pump are placed under the axial line,so it is unnecessary to remove the inlet and outlet pipeline and motor;

The shaft seal of water pump has fine mechanical seal and soft stuffing seal,which can be selected according to different condition by user;

The impeller is static-balance calibrated,fixed on the shaft with round nut,and its axial position can be adjustedvia the round nut;

The pump is direct drived by motor via resilient coupling,it can be drived by internal combustion engine if it is necessary.

The rotation direction

Viewed from motor, the direction of the pump is anti-clockwise,that is the suction in the left, the discharge in the right.

The rotating direction of the type pump is clockwise, that is the suction in the right, the discharge in the left.

Also can move the driver to another edge according to the user’s requires. Then, the rotating direction, the suction and discharge direction is in the opposite as the described above.

Q: does anyone know how to remove the water pump on an 84 corvette its killing me
take pictures during the removel process so to put every thing back together in reverse first remove shroud covering radiator.empty anti freeze from radiator into a drain pan and put it up out or reach from animals this will kill them than remove tranny lines from the radiator only,,, than remove radiator hoses at the radiator and water pump than remove radiator... next take fan belts off by losining altinator and moving it to take pressure off belts than remove belts if you have a serpentine belt get a chilton manual to find how to release tension from belt and remove belt take pictures so to put belt back on in reverse remove fan and pully off the water pump than remove bolts from water pump take water pump off than clean off all of the old gasket clean area with razer blade or scrapper with out damaging the flange.put new gasket and put every thing back together do not use gasket sealer a dry gasket will do..
Q: My Toyota 2006 Sienna has 80K miles on it and I asked the dealer to inspect the vehicle. He suggested that i replace Timing Belt, Water Pump, Drive Belt and Trans Pan Gasket. The cost of the repair comes to $1300 ($460 for Timing Belt, $350 for Water Pump, $140 for Drive Belt $370 for Pan Gasket).I'm caught by surprise with the price quoted and things to be replaced. Is the price quoted reasonable? Are these replacement common for Sienna vehicle with 80K miles? I don't know what could possibly go wrong if these are not changed for couple of months. I have an extended warranty on the vehicle for 100K miles will any of the above get covered under warranty?Any suggestions or advice is highly appreciated/
Yes, I agree with the others and follow the 90,000 mile rule and have never had a major problem with the 5 Toyotas we have bought from brand new and the longest we have ever kept was 1993 Toyota Camry LE with 211,000 miles that we gave away when my wife and her sisters all insisted on SUVs and she upgraded to 2005 Toyota Highlander 6 cylinder AWD. FYI in addition to timing belt package and water pump, I also have my mechanic replace the thermostat and both fan belts. Finding a good mechanic who has the skills and know-how and works on all kinds of Japanese vehicles is the 1st Major Step. Mine worked a long time ago at the local Toyota dealer and I have seen/witnessed him 1st hand tear down and put back engines transmissions and though his rate slowly creeps up, I stayed with him with 20 years and see him for advice whenever I noticed anything unusual. FYI on timing belt replacements, I put together a list of parts for my mechanic to confirm these are the genuine Toyota parts I need, then there are 2 Toyota dealers in Texas: Toyota of Dallas and Toyota of Richardson TX that sell about 30% discount off of MSRP plus UPS fee and anything I miss or overlooked I let the service station get from the dealer. Regarding the transmission, I simply drain the ATF every 30,000 miles and refill with genuine Toyota ATF fluid and once when I was busy my mechanic did it for $30 plus the Toyota ATF Fluid. Hope the Above info Helps!
Q: I switched on the pump and smoke came out of it, i opened the pump n found it had some water probably caused the shock. How to repair it or is it dead?? ** its not a well pump just a normal one that pump the water to the tank from a small reserve
it cant be repaird, to risky.
Q: I will be replacing my water pump tomorrow and my question is can I use copper spay gasket to spray on the water pump gasket?it this stuff good?99 ford explorer 4.0 ohv with 144k,mileshere is a pictures of the product.
Sure, why not? Usually, the metal area when most water pumps are bolted too are cleaned with a scraper of some kind and old gasket matter is removed. That surface should be cleaned, flat, and free of irregularity. Most mechanics, if they use any kind of stickum - like contact cement from a tube, or the costlier, but not-needed specialty sealers, is applied to the pump surface so the gasket stays put and not move when installing the bolts. The glue does not do any actual sealing, just the fiber gasket will. None needs to be applied to the engine side that you scraped clean. Make sense to you? It's probably a good idea to service the cooling system with a non-caustic flush cleaner before hand -since all the coolant will come out during the change. Then add a additive that neutralizes acids with the new anti-freeze.
Q: I drive a 2003 Mitsubishi Outlander and I am required to change my timing belt as part of preventive maintenance. When I had been to Firestone, they quoted $998 for Timing Belt Water Pump (both parts labor). When I called Midas, they quoted $550 for the same. Does anyone know why there is such a big difference? I have been a regular at Firestone, so Midas is new to me. Are they reliable? Midas is quoting low now, but would there be a surprise charge after I get it done? BTW, how is a water pump related to a timing belt??
The Difference is the amount of money being charge for labor,plus the mark up on the parts that most repair shops have. they may get the parts from the same place and pay the same price but have different pricing at the end. Labor rates vary thopugh they charge the same amount of time to do the Job (flat rate) their labor hour charge might be different. I would look closely at both WRITTEN Repair estimates and see what each one is charging for the belt and the Water Pump and how much labor they are charging for the Job. As to how the Water pump is related to the timing belt, The pump has to be rmoved to replace the Belt.
Q: What is a variable frequency water pump? What's the difference between a variable frequency pump and an ordinary pump?
Variable frequency water pump refers to the motor, variable frequency pump should be driven by variable frequency motor pumpFrequency conversion, that is, adjustable frequency, frequency conversion motor is able to adjust the speed, adjust the flow, to achieve the purpose of energy saving, but also start small current, maintenance advantages of small workload
Q: 25KW what is the lift of the pump?
Never mind lift and power of pump, series and pump impeller diameter and impeller, the same power pumps may lift hundreds of meters, but the flow may be only a few parties may also lift only a few meters, but the flow may be hundreds of square. The general rule is that under the same power, the flow of the head is high, the flow of the head is low, and there is no standard formula to determine the lift, which is determined by the conditions of your use and the model of the pump.
Q: Cant get the bolt loose fromthe fan that is attached to the water pump in my ford ranger. need to remove bolt in order to remove water pump.
You take a wrench that will fit behind the fan, and knock with a hammer on the wrench to break the nut loose. You turn the nut to loosen it the same way the fan turns when the engine is running
Q: Where is the water pump located in a 1995 Toyota tacoma pick up truck. Please be as specific as possible as the the location of the pump. Like what is it undwr or next to...etc
If you have the v-6 then the water pump is driven by the timing belt and you have to remove the fan belts and the timing cover just to see it . The 4 cylinder the pump is driven by the fan belt that drives the alternator and the fan .
Q: 2004 chevy impala 3.4 v6 The small leak is right behind the pulley of the water pump. Car is not overheating .the leak is only for a little while then it stops . water pump seems to be working fine but the leak ,what could it be ?
The water pump seal is leaking. You need to replace the water pump before it gets worse.
