The rotation direction
Viewed from motor, the direction of the pump is anti-clockwise,that is the suction in the left, the discharge in the right.
The rotating direction of the type pump is clockwise, that is the suction in the right, the discharge in the left.
Also can move the driver to another edge according to the user’s requires. Then, the rotating direction, the suction and discharge direction is in the opposite as the described above.

- Q:97 izusu rodeo has constant squeal after timing belt, water pump and all belts being replaced what could be the cause. It sounds pretty bad.
- If the timing belt is slipping the car wouldn't run. Chances are it's either the one that drives the AC or power steering unit. Make sure there's no oil on them they're the right size and properly tensioned.
- Q:Hoping that someone may read this.Broke down yesterday after re-filling coolant when car re-heated and mechanic who rescued us advised that the water pump is leaking and requires replacement.Our local garage have advised that to change the water pump also requires a new camber (?) kit and including both and 3.5 hours labour their total quote is ?315.08.This sounds crazy for changing a water pump - can anyone shed any light and reckon that they may be taking the mickey?Am not technical so wouldn't attempt to do work myself, however if we go back to garage, or to others, I'd like to know exactly what work needs doing.Thanks!
- well you will need a new pump, but im wondering why they are advising you to get a camber kit. camber kits are for the slant of how your wheels touch the ground i.e When the bottom of the tire is more inwards and the top is out, that is referred to as positive camber. Positive camber wears the outside of the tires at a rapid rate. Positive camber is generally the result of a bad alignment or wearing ball joint. A camber kit is not usually required for this because replacing the faulty part and realignment generally pulls everything into spec. One time a camber kit will be needed for positive camber is when the vehicles ride height is raised. When it is raised, it puts stress on the top ball joint because the wheels lifting motion conflicts with the ball joint position therefore pushing it to the side. With an adjustable camber kit, this is corrected by sliding the ball joint back inwards, towards the motor, to bring the wheel back into spec. they will of needed to look underneath your car to diagnose the problem. but i would take it to another garage to get them to diagnose the problem. i hope this helps man.

- Hi Christina, My sister's little boy had the same thing. Unfortunately their family doctor prescribed a stimulant laxative which is very harsh especially for young children and made the situation worse (if you must use laxative as last result, a bulk forming is the most gentle and least habitual forming). I have some great possible remedies and please forgive if you have already tried: the best would be increasing water intake everyday, slowly increase fiber intake but not too fast with fruits or veggies, natural non sugar (low sugar Dannon) yogurt is really big recommendation, aloe vera juice, flaxseed,comfrey in warm water as tea, and/or small amount of molasses in warm water(1/4 tsp). Sometimes constipation is due to iron medications or other prescriptions otherwise usually not enough fluid intake or fiber. Applesauce is good with no sugar not even artifical sugars. Cut any soda intake or high sugar foods. Also, try relaxation times(read favorite book together or quiet, slow activity) for both of you. Stress on either of you or getting high energy about situation can really prolong. Best of luck.

- I had one for mine before I moved her to a different tank and she did just fine. I think they adapt to noise pretty well. Just watch to see if there is any change in the behavior. It should be just fine! Good luck :)

- look at the water pump. do you see coolant? if everything is covered in coolant, clean it off with brake clean, then run it and look around the water pump again. It probably is the thermostat housing though. seeing as how they took that off recently. so look there too.

- Q:I have a 1990 js550 that i picked up for a project. When in the water it overheats and minimal water comes out the tell tail. When on the tap it runs fine no overheating, so i disconnected the hose from the back of the ski where it sucks the water in and ran a garden hose directly to it. And the ski ran fine.I also cleaned all the tubes out with air.I am not getting enough water flow through the ski when it is in the water. Is there a water pump inside the motor?There is definitely no blockages, there is just no enough pressure to keep it cool.Thanks
- Hey Sam, It's Jeff again. I used to own a stand-up ski a while back, and I had the same problem. The water to the motor comes from the jet pump, the more RPM, the more pressure, There should be enough pressure to keep the motor cool at low RPM, but if not then there are a couple of things to check. Since you already eliminated a blockage in the motor buy disconnecting the pickup, first check the actual pickup for a restriction from the entrance to the connection you took the hose off at. If that's OK, then the clearance in the jet pump itself could be excessive. A ski with a lot of hours in sandy water can have pump wear that isn't really noticeable when cruising, you might notice it a little under heavy acceleration when leaving the no wake zone. Under idle there just isn't enough pressure to cool the motor. You can have it fixed for not to much, a little hard to do yourself. To save a planned day on the lake you can always get a cheep inline electric water pump. My last thought though, since your other question was about a slow cranking starter, I'd pull the plugs and spin it over to see if it spits water out the cylinders. It doesn't hurt just to eliminate a blown head gasket. As a side note, I like them a lot better then the big sit-down style, they're much more free then the bigger ones. It's like the difference between a motorcycle and a car. If you want to do the stuff the bigger ones do, buy a boat.

- Depends on the type of pump, but for your garden variety type pump, there is a impeller of some sort that is turned by the motor to pump the water. The actual shaft of the motor is not in contact with the water (except where the impeller is attached to the shaft). A common type of failure mode here is when the seals on the shaft (which keep the water contained to the impeller area) have failed and water has gotten past the shaft seal and degraded the bearings holding the shaft = seizing up.

- If okorder /.. This site will help you determine if the pump is going out. Question: is there an intense sweet smell? If so, your head gasket(s)may be where the leak resides. Most of the leak would burn from the hot engine causing the sweet smell. Does your vehicle overheat? How fast does the coolant drain? Due to cramped space for a minivan, I can understand how you can't see it leaking.
